heeseung woke up, his head dizzy from the drinks he's had last night. he looked around him, as if he had forgotten something important. he squinted his eyes at a note he found on the nightstand. he grabbed it, reading the text.
'i left you some aspirin in case you have a headache. i have some important stuff so i left earlier. i'll see you on monday.'
heeseung blinked a couple of times.
"oh my- jake!" he screamed when realisation hit him like a truck. he took off the blanket and finally noticed that he was completely naked.
"jake! we did-? what?!" heeseung panicked as he saw flashes of memories from that night.
he groaned, covering his face with his hands. he took his phone, texting jake.
'call me.'
---
jake glanced at the text that popped on his screen, deleting it immediately.
"did someone text you?" sooha asked, looking up from her plate.
jake shook his head, smiling. "no one. just checked the time."
sooha nodded, but she didn't look convinced. "give me." she extended her hand.
"what?"
"your phone. give it to me." she demanded, her voice becoming more serious.
jake scoffed, handing her his phone. "why? are people not allowed to text me?"
sooha went through jake's messages, trying to find any suspicious text. "you know exactly who isn't allowed."
"i know you tried getting home before me, but your plan didn't work out. mind telling me where were you last night?" she continued, her eyes narrowing as she searched his phone.
"you can ask your driver. he left me right in front of this house."
"our house or heeseung's house?" she asked, putting the phone down.
jake rolled his eyes. he stood up, taking his plate to bring it to the kitchen. "whatever..."
he was too tired of hearing the same thing over and over again.
"you really think he doesn't hate you?" sooha asked, her voice raised.
"i deserve it. it's me who left him for years."

"...and this is our next big project. does anyone have any questions?" jake asked, turning off the presentation.
one of the employees later stood up. "i have more of a request than a question, mr. sim. could you please show us the prototypes so we could examine them?" "of course," he replied, smiling. "anything else?"
