Celebrating with your ghost

It was another morning on the resistance base. You finally decided to get up from bed from the sunlight beaming through your window that was almost penetrating into your eye.

It was a few days after when you and Leia both dismissed the resistance as they go on a mission to stop the first order and bring the galaxy at peace.

Just as you got out of bed, you heard R2D2 letting out many beeps.

" Well, good morning to you too R2. " You say to the Droid in the corner of the room as you stretch.

You went to the bathroom, brushed your teeth before looking into the mirror and styling your grey hair back into place. You decided to style your hair in a tight bun that would be tied of with a braid.

You then smiled at yourself ready to start your day of being in the resistance. You then walk into your walk in wardrobe and grabbed a green long sleeve undershirt that would be under a black vest along with some black cargo pants and black combat boots.

R2D2 beeps and you look back at the Droid. " Well thank you R2 " You reply at the Droid letting out a slight smile.

You then sighed at yourself and looked at yourself one last time before going outside your tiny apartment and leaving with R2 and going off to find Leia.

Leia was found in her usual place as the head leader of the resistance. You walked up behind her and scared her by suprise.

" Y / n you scared the ewoks out of me. " Leia says

" I know I know. " You reply with a slight laugh

" You know I don't like it when you do that. " Leia replies

You let out a silly face at Leia, and she let's out a chuckle before she continued to look at the maps and various charts.

A few hours later you both hear the buzz of many ships and a familiar buzz of the millennium falcon. You both look at eachother before going to run outside.

You both find the resistance landing and celebrating their victory by hugging and congratulating eachother. You both look at eachother before being spotted by Poe , Rey and Finn.

The trio runs up to both of you with Poe giving Leia a hug and Rey giving you a hug aswell. You both hug back not caring how sweaty they are both of you guys not wanting this moment to end.

" Are you okay? Your bleeding! " You say as you pull away from Rey and look at her gash on her forehead.

Rey nods in reassurance. Just as you were about to reply Poe grabs you and pulls you both into the middle of the resistance celebration.

Later that day it was dark outside and the resistance decided to have a campfire to celebrate their success. Everyone sitting on logs and telling many stories , catching up with friends and family and getting drunk.

You were leaning against a tree while having a Spotchka as you look into the stary night sky, enjoying the moment and silently celebrating this victory.

" Y / N! " Leia yells out

You quickly snap out of your dreaming and looked back into the celebration but quickly looking back into the stary night and seeing a ghost appear infront of your eyes.

Luke skywalker, your late husband right infront of your eyes giving you a smile.

" Y / N " Leia calls out again

You continue to look back to your late husbands ghost as he greats you. You give him a smile back before raising your glass of Spotchka into the air.

" Cheers Luke. " You say and bring down the Glass to your lips and drinking the Spotchka before seeing his ghost leave with a smile and you being embraced into Leias arms and being redirected to the celebration.
