The bell had rung in the Jedi academy, indicating lunchtime. Everyone loudly scraping their shoes against the tile of the hallway of the academy into the cafeteria. You, being one of the last people to leave the classroom that particular afternoon as you wanted to take your time to stroll around the what would now be the empty hallways of the jedi academy to the cafeteria.
You slowly made your way to the cafeteria and grabbed your tray, and grabbed the food that you wanted that afternoon. Picking up the tray that contained your food, you let out a sigh before looking up, walking to your spot where you would meet your friends at.
Taking a lot of twists and turns until you were finally in the courtyard of the jedi academy where you could finally see your friends sitting off in the distance, eating and talking about the latest gossip.
You sit down just as your friend was in mid sentence, not wanting to interrupt you grab your apple from your food tray, and take a bite of it as you listen to your friends continue their previous conversation before they turn all your attention onto you.
"Wh-What?" You question
How all of your friends were staring at you and not saying a word. The sight of your friends putting their attention onto you made you slightly uncomfortable. You didn't know whether you should scream or not. But instead, you just waited for one of your friends to make the first move.
" Well? Did you hear!?" One friend asks
"Hear what?" You reply slightly confused
"Luke Skywalker talking to his friends about you!" Another friend replies for the other.
You felt your eyes widen and your mouth open, but no words coming out of your mouth. Luke skywalker is one of the most popular boys in the jedi academy who is widely known for being the son of Anakin is a jedi along with his mother, Padme an senator. All you could do was continue to bite your apple as you sit in awkward silence while being surrounded by your friends.
"Well? What do you have to say!" Another friend exclaims
You shrug, not that you didn't like him back but you genuinely didn't know how you felt about this situation.
"I thought you would have been more....excited. I mean, the son of The Anakin Skywalker and Padme amidala has a crush on you!" Your friend replies
You stayed silent again, not knowing yet again what to reply to your friends as the anxiously gather around you about the situation. You couldn't help but turn around to notice Luke clearly talking to his friends on the other side of the courtyard before taking another bite of your apple.
A wave of relief hits you just as you hear the bell ring, indicating that lunch has ended and you now need to be walking to your next class. You quickly jumped out of your seat and grabbed your bag before walking away from your friends and onto your next class.
After 1 hour and 35 minutes, you hear the next bell ring indicating the dismissal bell. You watch as everyone runs out the door before the teacher could ever pronounce the word 'dismissed'.
You were one of the last people to leave as you cautiously hooked your lightsaber back onto your belt clip and grabbed your stuff to then exit your classroom and out of the jedi academy. As you were walking out of the door, the teacher thanked you, and soon you were out the door and into the hallway.
