The double suns on Tatooine were beaming on you and Luke as you both walked into the town with a mission. Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru made you both go in to town to get more supplies for their moisture farm, so that what you and Luke were going to do.
Luke continued to try and talk to you to take the pain away from how hot the floor was on the touch of your sandles that were barley a inch long.
You finally head into town, overheated and exhausted. You both started to make your way to see the streets filled with vendors who are trying to make their living situation better by jacking up the prices for more than what the actual item is worth.
As you both continue to walk throught the vendors that are trying to sell you stuff for a unreasonable price out of the corner of your eye you spot a shiny necklace. " Luke go on. I'll catch up to you. " You say to Luke and Luke walks infront of you.
You go up to the table that the street vendor had the necklace on. How from a mile away you could see its beauty glistening in the sunlight. You don't know how long it's been out in the beaming sun but that doesn't stop you from picking the necklace up and placing it in your palm. Easily getting burned.
" Kava much Sa it Che Ta necklace ? " You ask the vendor looking up to its face.
The street vendor laughs at you and you look down realizing that he is laughing at your clothes. You wore a robe that wrapped around your body with some matching pants covered in dirt and sweat.
" Jee will Settah it again. Kava much Sa it. " You reply to the vendor again but this time in a more aggressive tone.
" 60 credits. " the vendor says
You eyes widen as you hear the price come out from the vendors mouth. 60 credits for a necklace? Money on the moisture farm was already hard as it is so you gently put the necklace down feeling defeated.
" You ready ? " Luke says as he comes up to you with all of the supplies that your aunt and uncle asked for.
You nod slightly even tho you wanted to cry. It was just a necklace? Why were you going to cry over a necklace? You kept your composure but looked at the necklace one last time before walking out of the town with Luke.
Luke could luckily see that you were looking at the necklace. It was a beautiful necklace but probably to out of you price range.
As you both walked back Luke tried to have a conversation with you with you only replying back in a defeated tone. He knew that you had wanted the necklace and he was going to have to get it for you.
" Did you get the supplies ? " Aunt beru asks when you both finally arrive home.
Luke nods while you head up to your room letting out a big slame.
" What is wrong with her ? " Uncle Owen asks
Luke shrugs not wanting to tell his Uncle and Aunt about the situation. He just happily places the stuff on a chair and goes to his room to formulate a plan to get you your necklace.
The next morning Luke woke up extremely early,the clock reading 5 am. He quickly got up and got changed trying to make little to no noise as he assumed he was the only one awake.
He finished getting dressed a tip toes out of his bedroom and into the hallway where he passes your bedroom and his Aunt and uncles.
He rushes outside to see that it is still dark, the perfect weather to start walking into town. He then started to walk into the town.
Luke then finally arrives at the town just as the two sun's were about to come up. He notice the vendor still setting up their tables that would be filled with goods. He then notices the vendor that you were talking to the day before and came up to the vendor.
"Jee'll like Tah by Da necklace -----." Luke says to the vendor as he points to the necklace that you were eyeing on the day before.
" 60 credits." The vendor says
Luke then reached into his pocket and found the 60 credits that layed in his pocket of his shirt and gave the credits to the vendor.
The vendor quickly takes the credits and hands Luke the necklace. Content with the money that he just had earned.
Luke glances at the necklace before pushing it into his pocket and making his way out the town before the two sun's would appear and make his journey home more miserable.
Luke walks back to his home to see his Aunt beru outside. Picking mushrooms then quickly turning around to find Luke.
" Where were you ? " Aunt beru questioned.
Luke shrugged of the question then asked " Where is keilani ? " Luke asks
" Fixing droids " Aunt beru says
Luke then nods and starts to make his way to you. He walks down the steps and finds you fixing a Droid that Uncle Owen probably made her fix. Luke was excited to see your reaction for the necklace that he had just bought you. He hoped that you were happy.
He quickly came up to you and tapped you on the shoulder. You quickly putting your tools down and facing Luke.
Luke then proceeds to bring out the necklace. A smile goes over your face.
