It was a Friday evening in the jedi temple where everyone was eager to be let out and begin their weekend activities. You and your classmates finally heard the words that you everyone had been eagerly waiting for, and everyone eagerly picked up their bags and left the room ready to run up to their parents and start their weekend.

You slowly packed up your supplies while putting your lightsaber on your belt clip and placing the bag on your shoulder and ready to walk out. Just as you were walking out, you felt a tap on your shoulder and turned around to be face to face with a blonde haired boy who you knew very well.

" Yes?may I help you? " You questioned

You sensed as the boys breath became to a more nervous touch. What was he so nervous about?

Before he could even reply, his soft lips intertwined with yours. Then he let go and looked at you with a soft gaze.

" I love you, Y / n. " Luke says, whispering into your ear

But suddenly you felt a bad feeling in your stomach. You knew that Luke had just broken up with a girl who was named Venus, and rumors were speculating that their were back in the talking stage. But at the same time, you couldn't help but feel a deep connection with Luke, almost like you needed him, and you would hope that he wanted you the same as well.

You felt as if your eyes connected with his blue eyes as you both stood their speechless before hearing the sound of your parents' speeder horn in the distance of the academy.

Luke snapped his head in the direction of your parents' speeder, then looked back into your eyes and then grabbed your hands into his.

" I promise that I don't love her anymore, Y / n. " Luke says

You felt as if your muscles went tight as you continued to look into his blue eyes as you still heard your parents' speeder horn in the distance. You quickly let go of his grasp and grabbed your bag to place it onto your shoulder and walked to your parents' speeder.

" Who was that hunny ? " Your dad questions

You reply with a little shake of your head as your dad started the speeder up and was ready to leave. Just as you were about to leave, you looked back to the Jedi temple to find Luke standing in his exact same spot, watching as you leave while his expression is vacant with emotion.

𝐀 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬

It has now been a few years since Luke has confessed his love for you outside of the Jedi temple. You had now gained feelings for Luke ever since he had confessed his love for you.

Just as you were walking to your class, you walked past an empty room, and you couldn't help but watch as your crush, Luke was now kissing Venus. You noticed how Luke placed his hands on her hips and whispered something in her ear that made her let out a little giggle.

You stand their speechless. What about that promise all those years ago? Were you too late? You felt as if you wanted to cry, but you didn't want to let any emotion for you to be discovered. You quickly whipped your tears and rushed to your class now feeling empty.

The class quickly let out, and you saw yourself rushing out with everyone else and to your speeder. You quickly placed your bag on the passenger seat of your speeder and went into the driver's side and started the speeder. Quickly backing out of the jedi temple to hide the tears that would soon be rushing down your face as your speeder started to go into the busy streets of Crousant.

You quickly saw yourself parking your speeder and walking into a bar where you would go in at 3:20 pm. and ordering your first Spotchka.

Rapidly, your first Spotchka became your 12th Spotchka, and you could feel yourself getting dizzy. Until you saw Luke and his girlfriend walk into the bar with Luke's arm around Venus shoulder as they walked up to a bar, and also ordered a drink.

As the clock striked 10:15, you saw as Venus grabbed Luke's collar of his shirt and pulled him onto the dance floor. Luke pulled Venus into a close grasp with one hand on her waist and another hand on her thigh as Venus placed both of her hands on Luke's face.

You took a sip of your Spotchka as you turned away from the couple, now realizing that you were too late. Realizing that the Jedi temple that you had shared your first kiss is now rusted and broken.
