She entered her still and dark room.
An unusual routine she had never followed.
She dropped her school bag on the floor while she opened her drawers in the pitch black. She was looking for one thing,
and one thing only.
She grabbed the knife she hid so long ago and held it tight like it was apart of her. She knew it was time, there was no going back. For as long as she can remember, she prayed to God for the courage to finally succeed her numerous attempts, but it never happened. Ever since O'Donnor has changed and everyone's attitude towards her greatly declined, she knew there was one thing she could do to please the students of O'Donnor high.
And that plan, was to kill herself.
She bent down to curl up under her desk, and with the small streetlight from her window, she made out where her wrist was. She never was a fan of pain, she only did this stuff to get her mind off of everything else that made her hurt in life. Feeling emotions was somehow even more painful than a blade to a skin. A dark liquid dripped down her arm and into her now stained carpet. She got out from under the desk and laid on the floor, staring at what was her last view of Earth. There was still little time before she was taken away by death, so she thought about how everyone would react, if they found her dead. Of course she knew her parents would experience true pain, but that did not affect her for she had already made up her mind. She thought about the friends she made during Kkk klub. The once friends now turned hateful towards her. Her eyes teared up. Blood wasn't the only thing falling down her skin.
She got a bit more lightheaded.
She distracted herself by thinking about the guys she used to date and wondered if they would find out. She wondered how they would react, the person who broke their heart whole, now found dead. Would they laugh? Would they shrug it off? Or would they cry and kill themselves over her? This spiraled off into dark thoughts about how she knew everyone couldn't stand her at school and how no matter how hard she joked and laughed, she could never get rid of those depressing thoughts she locked away deep down.
Her eyes were fluttering. She knew she was out of time. One last look at the dark ceiling wondering, just maybe, someone will break into her room and rush her to the hospital. Maybe afterwards she would be more grateful about life. But deep down she knows, no one will rescue her. No one was awake, no one knew what she was planning, and no one even cared to help. But I guess that made her have some peace inside her mind. Alone with her thoughts while she drifts away from her body.
Maybe in her next life, she would find happiness .
She smiled, as she shut her eyes for rest.
