Velvets Prov

I was sitting in bed talking to Veneer waiting for someone to call us to go. Today was the day Ritz was supposed to interview us. My guts are flipping at the near thought of it. I'm excited, scared, confident, a lot of things but all I can do is wait...

"Hey! You to. You guys have an impotent with... Kid Ritz? Right." I sit up as fast as I could hearing the guard say that. "Yes! We do" I say slowing getting up hoping the time has finally come. "Well then we better get you ready then. There calling for you now." The guard says as he starts unlocking the door.

Veneer gets up hearing it was time to go and starts heading to the door but I quickly pull him back and make him meet my eyes. "How do I look?" "Tried but a good kind." "Good enough." "What about me?" He asks "same thing tried" "can't do anything about it now. Let's go" we starts walking towards the door about to reach the threshold before the guard stops us.

"Wait we have to put cuffs on your arms so you don't try and funny business" "how are we even supposed to try the so called funny business when you need keys to get anywhere here." I protest to him. "We don't know what could happen better save then sorry!" He says before grabbing both my hands and cuffing them. Then making his way to do Veneers

"Now follow me."

We slowing walk around the jail having the guard open countless doors before we finally reached a room with a bunch of equipment for filming I'm assuming. It's almost the same stuff I remember being there when we first got interviewed by Ritz. But just much smaller.

"Hey guys!" Ritz says greeting us over where chairs had been laid out for us to be sitting in. "Hey Ritz" Veneer says as we all walk over to him. "I'll be waiting outside so once all of you are done Ritz will call me." We all nod at the guard as he starts to make his way to the door. He then walks out then locks the door. "Well why don't you guys take a seat so we can get started." Ritz says showing us to the chairs. We all sit down and Ritz looks over to his small crew. "We ready to go?"

The camera man gives a thumbs up. Ritz then turns to us and asks "well then are you guys ready?" We both look at each other before we both say "yes" and turning back to Ritz. "Start the count down then." Ritz says to the camera man. He then held out his hand for everyone to see and then starts counting down from 5 on his fingers. "On this Episode of The Bop on Top we are back with Velvet and Veneer! So how's jail been for you two?"

My heart starts pounding with how unreal this is I never thought I would be in the position again. "Jail has been unbearable! I don't even know how I'm even lasting!" I say very dramatically for the camera. Veneer then buds in with his thoughts. "Tell me about it! Especially the food." "Well at least you guys have each other! You guys do seem like you have been doing better than the last time we saw you together. Did something happened that made you guys work stuff out?" My stomach drops at the near memories for all thats happened to get us here.

And even though I didn't see Veneers reaction to the question. I just knew his did too. "Y-you could s-say that." Veneer manages to say very nervously. I knew it. "Well then that's good to hear! Speaking of which Veneer how's Velvet been doing?" I turn to look towards him scared about the words about to come out of his mouth. "She been doing good. Great even! She made a lot of progress here." I turn back to Ritz to hear what he said to say next. Thankfully Veneer didn't reveal to much but I also feel a little embarrassed that he thinks I have been doing better.

"Well that's surprising but good! And Velvet how has Veneer been?" I start think back on everything that had happened before a distant though came running back...

A thought I had made at the beginning. His secret. This was my chance to get him back! For everything. For ratting us out about the troll. For making me look like the bad guy! My last chance too. To tell everyone.

"Velvet?" Ritz says snapping me back to reality.
"Huh what?" "How's Veneer been doing?" I quickly shoot up from my seat which surprised everyone. I then look down to Veneer. Which looks the most surprised out of all of them. He then whispered something only I could hear "what are you doing?"

I whisper back "something I have wanted to do since we got here....im gonna rat you out like you did to us." His face turned to surprised to confusion then to terror once he finally realized what words were about to come out of my mouth. "Y-you wouldn't." He starts to pled but I have already made up my mind and it was too late going back. I turned back to the camera and say.

"Listen up Mount Rageons....Veneer is....."

( yes I am gonna cut it off there. I need to add dramatic effect. )
