we made our way back home, kenma decided to sleep over and i was over being upset with him. "you coming to lev's tomorrow?" kenma asked, facing me, we both sat in the back seat, "yeah why not...i have to get over kai eventually." i muttered, scrolling on my phone.

once we got home, i went to have a shower and when i entered my room, i saw a sleeping kenma. aww he looks adorable when he's sleeping...i chuckled softly to myself before grabbing my hair dryer and migrating to the spare room. after finishing up my nightly routine, i decided on ordering some food (im a hungry person) and asked kuroo if he wanted anything - and him being the fatass he is obviously said yes -.

we settled with pizza, it was quick and easy. by now it was nearly 11pm and kuroo and i being the most iconic siblings ever, were stuffing our faces with cheese and pepperoni pizzas, watching horror movies. not long after we finished the first 2 boxes, we heard footsteps down the hall, i turned my head and saw kenma, rubbing his eyes, adjusting his vision.

"look who decided to join us..." kuroo laughed, loudly. kenma groaned and sat beside me as i offered him a slice of pizza, he has his switch in his vacant hand.

the movies finished, the empty pizza boxes were spread out on the floor, along with a sleeping kuroo. i checked my phone, it was after 4am. kenma sat on the sofa playing his game, and i was slowly drifting off to sleep...cleaning up is a future me issue anyways....

kenma's pov

i looked over to y/n, she was peacefully sleeping, kuroo's snores were very distracting and so i kicked him, waking him up. "Huh what...kenma?" his gaze on me, "stop snoring you fat shit, go to your room." kuroo squinted as he checked his phone for the time, his eyes then met with a sleeping y/n, who was lying beside me. "i know that if i ask you'll deny it but...." he began, a classic smirk glued to his face. "if i say yes will you go to your room?" i asked him, putting my switch beside me. i could tell kuroo wanted to scream, but he contained himself as he realised y/n was sleeping. "so you do? you're admitting it?!" he said, a bright smile growing onto his face in replace of the smirk. i gave a small nod.

so i've finally come to the realisation huh...i thought to myself, kuroo was now in his room and a small smile was on my face as i looked at y/n peaceful figure. she really is pretty...

i went to grab a blanket to cover her and then i went to sit on the floor, not daring to fall asleep so i settled with continuing my game.

morning came by relatively quickly, kuroo was awake making himself a coffee. it was nearly 9am and kuroo told me to wake up y/n so we could get going to lev's.

"y/n, wake up," i said, throwing a cushion at her, i had to make it look like i wasnt interested one bit. she stirred around before her eyes fluttered open, she kicked the blanket off and shot up. "yep," she said, her morning voice is so cu- no shut up, dont think about her. i told her to go get ready in which she did, kuroo came back in and handed me a can of monster.

y/n came down shortly after i had finished my energy drink, she was dressed in simple clothing and a scarf around her neck. "its snowing!" she smiled brightly, that same smile that drew my attraction to her in the first place, that same smile that she gave me whenever were playing when we were kids, god that smile makes me weak.

kuroo went to look out the window, she was right, it was snowing, it wasnt too heavy though. before leaving, i went to freshen up a little, brushed my teeth and washed my face. i came back to the living room and not a speck of pizza crust was left on the floor, i wasnt even gone for that long and y/n had already finished cleaning? kuroo mustve seen the confused yet amazed look i carried, as he groaned "she made me help her..."

soon after, we left, making our way to lev's.

first person pov

i sat in the passenger seat and played my playlist, kuroo also sang along to some songs, kenma sat quietly in the back, playing on his switch. "fuck," i heard him mutter, i looked back, "whats wrong?" his yellow eyes, the same yellow eyes thar drew me to him, the same yellow eyes that made my heart flutter, they met my e/c orbs. "my switch died," he replied, i let out an 'oh' as i handed him my portable charger. "thanks y/n."

why was i upset at that, 'thanks y/n...' thats all i get? but riley got 'i love you so much'... why did this hurt me so much.

once parking, i jumped out of the car and slipped my shoes off before entering lev's house. everyone was already there, and their stares pierced into my soul. fukunaga came up to me and gave me a hug, "how have you been?" he asked, the team still dont know about the breakup...or so i thought. kai immediately left and dashed towards the kitchen and in his replacement...an unexpected guest entered. "riley," i gritted between my teeth, in which only fukunaga heard, he gave a sympathetic look and dragged me into the hallway.

"since you've been gone, she's been hanging off kenma, they're always together, she keeps trying to join the group, every lunch she sits on kenma's lap," he said, this only angered me more, kai wasnt the issue anymore...it was her.
