Hi! I'm Kivar1n, author of Paladin's Academy.

First off, I apologize for any grammatical mistakes and anything like that. All I have for now is a the rough outline of the whole story, AKA just notes on what has to happen per chapter. I'm sort of making it all up as I go along and that might reflect in the writing. There might be some continuity mistakes as well, so I suggest treating the following chapter as "first drafts." I am always open to criticism, so if you have any tips or maybe complaints, just leave them in the comments.

Second, the story structure itself is a bit convoluted. The "prologue chapters" take place one month before the act I. The reason I did the prologue chapters first is because of how the story originally was. For context, "Paladin's Academy" was a campaign I made to play with my friends during the pandemic. Thus, each of the prologue chapters features one of their characters. I won't say who's a playable character and who's not, just know that each of those are dedicated to one of the players. So think of this book as the adaptation of that story, with some changes of course.

Third, I would like to address the time gap between chapters. Sometimes, I get hit with the writer's block and become unable to write for weeks, even months. I won't promise anything about when the next chapter releases. In the future, when I have more free time, I might do a bi-weekly schedule., but no guarantees.

Fourth, I would like to quickly mention my inspiration for this book. Obviously, My Hero Academia is a big one, I love the series even if I don't agree with all the decisions made. Horikoshi cooked such a good ass series, I'd be honored if my work is even mentioned in the same sentence. Of course, I have to mention Marvel and DC, being a big comic book nerd, they have laid the groundwork for everything superhero-related. Also, Jujutsu Kaisen, because I have recently watched the series and read the manga (which kinda inspired me to write this series again.) I don't know why, but the sorcerers in JJK kinda act like superheroes or I'm just trippin. All I know is that Gege Akutami cooked, and the meal is somewhat burned (Maki) but still very much enjoyable (Also Maki.)

Finally, this book wouldn't even exist without the help of my wonderful friends. I may have made the universe, but my friends breathe life into these characters. These characters wouldn't be interesting without their help. So my friends, thank you. Once this series takes off and becomes a show (or maybe a movie hehe) all of you will get a cameo role, that's a promise. With all of that said, dear reader, I hope you enjoy your journey into the world of Paladin's Academy!
