Stubborn girl

Enid Sinclair, a blonde girl who's a firefighter, this had always been her dream, saving people's lives, the adrenaline rush everytime she's in a burning building

It's all great, yes of course there are some moments where they get hurt, or worse, lose a limb, or worse than that

There's a high chance they die in the fire...

"Okay! Everyone Sinclair you go in with galpin! Hurry!" The captain yelled at them, they geared up and ran into the building

Their captain Donovan was a good captain, he always knew how to do things and think quickly in a serious situation

As soon as they stepped into the house, the ceiling in the living room collapsed the fire was spreading fast

"Fire department! Call out!" Tyler yelled, there was no response he did it again and a faint voice was heard from upstairs

He hurried up while Enid searched the lower level, the blonde girl had been a firefighter for two years, she loved this job

"Got her!" Tyler yelled and started making his way out, Enid searched the floor and no one was there just this one woman who galpin rescued

The smoke was heavy, the sight was bad, she couldn't see a thing, she was going outside when the ceiling above her cracked

And then it collapsed, Enid was quick to move but one heavy piece hit her head and she fell unconscious

"Sinclair!" Captain spoke trough the radio, but there was no response 
"Okay! Kent! Galpin! Get her out!" he yelled

And the two boys ran into the house, and quickly found Enid on the ground
"Captain, she's unconscious! We are going to take her to the hospital! Possible head Injury!"

The blonde started to gain consciousness as they put her in the ambulance her head hurt like hell right now

The paramedics were giving checking her heart beat which was incredibly fast, but that was normal at the moment

Enid was looking around the ambulance now realizing what happened, before she could say anything

The ambulance stopped and some doctors appeared "firefighter, twenty five, female, head Injury, the ceiling collapsed onto her"

The doctor nodded and they took her to a room in the ER "okay, let's move people, I need a head CT asap" the woman said and looked at Enid

"I'm doctor Addams, I'm taking care of you, so you just relax and let us do our job" Wednesday said and shined the light in enids eyes

Who snapped her hand away, the doctor raised an eyebrow, then Enid took the oxygen mask off "I'm fine" the blonde said and began to sit up

But was quickly stopped by Wednesday holding her down "lay down and let me do my job!" The doctor said

Enid rolled her eyes and laid down
"Good, now let's move people" she said and took Enid for a head CT

The scans came in and Wednesday took a look at it "look, there's a bleeding there" the doctor said to her resident

"And what do we do now?" Xavier the resident asked looking at Wednesday
"We are opening her up, this bleeding won't stop, look there is the damage"

Wednesday pointed at the screen, thrope nodded "let's prep the OR and get her there as soon as possible" the doctor said and walked out of the room

She went to the OR where she scrubbed in and was ready to operate, Enid was on the table looking absolutely confused

Wednesday was now in the surgery suit "don't worry, you are going to be fine, the hit caused a bleeding in your brain, which we are going to stop, now inhale deeply"

The goth said as they put the mask over enids nose and mouth, she did what she was told to and soon went to sleep

Xavier was next to Wednesday as they operated on the blonde, the surgery took two hours to do, then she was done

"And that's how you do this" doctor Addams said and looked at Xavier
"That was amazing" he said, it was the first brain surgery he had seen

It was exciting especially when he helped Wednesday "now, let's talk to the family or her firefighter friends"
Xavier nodded

And they both took their stuff off and washed themselves before going out to the waiting room, full with firefighters looking worried

"How is she doc?" Donovan asked as Wednesday walked up to them
"She's going to be fine, the surgery went well without any complications"

They all looked relived hearing that
"She will be up in a couple of hours, but you can go see her" Xavier said smiling at them

"Thank you son" Donovan said slapping Xavier on the back "I am a resident, she's the surgeon" the boy said pointing at Wednesday

Who was giving the captain a death glare "oh well thank you both of you" Wednesday nodded and turned around then walked away

She went to the counter "Bianca, I am going to the bar tonight, want to come?" The nurse sucked in a breath

"Can't, I have a night shift" Wednesday nodded and fixed her posture "you have no friends, only me?" The goth was quiet

"Who else am I suppose to be friends with? My residents? There's no way" Wednesday said in her usual cold tone

"Maybe if you wouldn't be scary, people would like you, I mean nurses do, really do, but not me" Wednesday nodded

She pushed her lips in a thin line
"I know they do, especially in bed" Bianca laughed and pushed Wednesday a little

"Now if you excuse me, I have a patient to check up on" Wednesday said and walked away, going into enids room

Her head wrapped in gauze and other stuff, on a heart monitor, with IV fluids flowing through her body

Wednesday checked her vitals and wrote stuff down to her chart, then went out, and took a coffee break

After about an hour she got paged that her patient is awake, Wednesday groaned and put her cigarette out, then went to enids room again

"Well look who's up, how are you feeling?" Wednesday asked as she walked next to her, shining the light in her eyes

"Could you not?" Enid said and pushed Wednesday's hands away
"I have to see if your pupils react, let me do my job"

Wednesday said and tried again, Enid grabbed her hand and didn't let her, the goth raised an eyebrow "you do know I can get you strapped down to this bed within seconds"

Enid nodded knowing that "don't blind me! Do whatever you want but that! My eyes are fine!" Enid said letting Wednesday's hand go

Who took a deep breath, and began to check other stuff out "you are good, the surgery went well" the goth said Enid nodded

"Thank you doctor" Enid said pausing at the end not remembering her name
"Addams, doctor Addams" they shook hands

"I am Enid" Wednesday nodded and put her pen in her coats pocket "good, if you need anything press the button and the nurse will help you"

Enid nodded then watched as Wednesday walked out...

What an interesting day...

Almost died...

But she met a cute doctor...

Interesting....
