The strom was finally passing, the ER was finally calming down, less death, more successful savings

Wednesday went down to the cafeteria and got herself a salad, she haven't eaten in a whole day, the surgeon was starving

And in a half hour she has a surgery, after that she can go home and rest, Bianca, Eugene, Yoko and Xavier sat down to her

"This was something else" tanka said as she drank her coffee, Xavier laid his head on the table

"Why exactly are you here? This is a table where the nurse's and doctors sit" Wednesday asked her resident

Xavier groaned and shrugged "it's comfortable here, the table is comfortable" Bianca laughed at her ex boyfriend

"By the way, I saw you're talking to that cute fireman" Xavier blushed a little as Yoko teased her

"Yeah, his name is Ajax, he's cute" the boy said and smiled then fixed his posture "ask him out" Wednesday said and finished her salad

"Doctor Addams? Can I scrub in with you for this surgery?" Eugene asked Wednesday thought for a second then nodded

"Sure, come on" the two stood up and went to the OR, where they both scrubbed in "this should be an easy work"

Wednesday said as she got the gloves on her hand "after this, I'm going home" Eugene said smiling to himself

The goth liked this boy, he's sweet and smart, she let him do a lot of stuff, since he knew what he was doing, he hoped to become a surgeon like Wednesday

"Okay, let's start" Wednesday said and then began to open up the man's scull

Enid was bored, very bored, her friends came in to see her "how are you doing?" Divina asked and looked at her friend

"I'm good, very bored, I will ask my doctor when will I get out, cause I'm going insane here" donovan laughed

"I bet you are, I can't sit still either" the younger galpin said smiling at her
The captains radio was heard in the silence

'𝘊𝘢𝘳 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘴𝘩 𝘢𝘵 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘵, 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘬 𝘩𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘴, 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯' 

"let go people" donovan said and then waved goodbye to Enid, and hurriedly left the hospital

Enid went on her phone as she waited, at least three hours passed before doctor Addams walked up to the desk in front of enids room

"Doctor!" Wednesday didn't hear her the first time, neither the second time, Enid grabbed a pen and threw it at her Wednesday raised an eyebrow

And turned around, then walked into the room, closing the door behind herself "is everything alright?" The goth asked

And checked Enids vitals "no, I need to get out, I'm going mad here" the doctor pushed her lips together and shooked her head

"I'm keeping you here for at least another day, then you are free to go" Enid sighed in relief, and nodded

"But now, I'm going home, the nurse's will check on you" Wednesday said Enid was hesitant, but the doctor began to walk away

The firefighter grabbed Wednesday's coat just in the last minute "what?" Wednesday asked turning back around

"Can I get your number?" Enid asked sheepishly, Wednesday rolled her eyes and took enids phone, then wrote her number in it 'Dr.Addams'

Enid smiled to herself "sleep tight doc" Wednesday nodded and walked out of the room

Then went to the doctors lounge, she grabbed her stuff and left, but before she did, Wednesday changed into her own clothes

Then went home, finally. she thought, as soon as she got home, Wednesday took a warm bath, almost falling asleep in it

The hot water felt good for her tired body, she was truly exhausted by now, she kept remembering the time in the elevator

How nice that hug was, Wednesday hummed and heard her phone buzz, she groaned thinking it was the hospital

But it was Enid, she rolled her eyes
'𝘏𝘦𝘺 𝘥𝘰𝘤' Wednesday didn't answer she put her phone down and enjoyed her bath

Then got out before falling asleep, she put on some comfortable clothes and fell on the bed, almost immediately falling asleep

'𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘳𝘶𝘥𝘦? 𝘠𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘦' Wednesday sighed and decided to text back

'𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘮𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨' the goth replied, she didn't even blinked and got a text back '𝘰𝘰𝘩 𝘰𝘬𝘢𝘺! 𝘚𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘰𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳'

Wednesday didn't respond to that, instead she put her phone down and closed her eyes, and boom she fell asleep in that second

She slept through most of the day, until she got woken up to her pager going off, Wednesday groaned and looked at it

It was Bianca paging her to come to the hospital because it's urgent, Wednesday groaned then got herself out of bed

She put some pants on and gathered stuff then went back to the hospital, she basically lives there

She got there and the doctors were in the hallway "what's going on?" The goth asked looking at Yoko, who shurgged

"Don't know, chief called us here" Wednesday nodded and got closer to the chief since she was very small

"I gathered all of you here, because I am really sorry to tell you, but we are having financial problems, we have to cut down on somethings"

Wednesday blinked a couple of times
"What exactly you mean by that?" A nurse asked looking confused

"We will have to fire people, and cut down on surgeries until we get back on our feet"

Everyone looked horrified...

How could this happen?...

What caused this?...

It does not make sense.....
