The ring

Wednesday was walking through the halls of the hospital, she was currently free

Which was a good thing, since all day she's been running around, because of all the people that were brought in the ER

Xavier was with her "so, how do you feel thrope? Now you're a real doctor" the goth said to him

Xavier is now isn't a resident but a doctor

"Pretty good, and it's good for my ego too, how things with Blondie?" Wednesday rolled her eyes

"None of your business, but if you must know, I'm planning on proposing to her" The boys mouth fell open

"No way! That's awesome!" He said and then just smiled "it is an interesting thing" Wednesday said and wrote her signature on the chart

Then gave it to the nurse..

"And I want to do it tonight, but I need help with the ring picking" Wednesday said and looked up at the boy

"You want me to help? Seriously?!" He asked in an excited tone, Wednesday took a deep breath and nodded

"Yes, you have a good taste in jewelry, and I've known you for quite a while now, also I trust you, so come on boy" Xavier walked after Wednesday without a question

Wednesday changed out of her clothes, so did Xavier and then they were off to buy a ring

Wednesday was anxious..

Why was she anxious? That's something she rarely feels..

Enid will say yes to her without a problem, the girl always wanted to marry her

"But weren't you against marriage?" Xavier asked as Wednesday drove off from the hospital

"Yes, I was, I still kind of am, but for Enid, i'd do anything, if marrying her means i get to spend the rest of my life with her, then I'm marrying her"

Xavier had a big smile on his face as Wednesday spoke..

"You're an interesting person Addams" Wednesday hummed and nodded

Soon she stopped the car, it was the jewelry store where she bought Enid that necklace as an apology

They both got out of the car and walked inside, the same men was there who sold her that necklace

"Well, welcome back, how can I help?" The man behind the counter asked with a smile

They both knew he wouldn't be so nice if he didn't know Wednesday had money

"I'm looking to buy a ring for my lover" he nodded as they began looking through the rings

He got out two rings and put it on the table..

One was golden the other was silver, with a big diamond in the middle

The golden one had smaller little ones on it..

The silver one didn't..

"This is a seven carat, silver ring, and this is a ten carat golden one, both of them truly beautiful and worth it" Wednesday hummed

"Take the gold one, I think it looks better on her, and she'd like that more" Wednesday bit the inside of her cheek as Xavier spoke

"Do you have her finger size?" The man asked, Wednesday nodded and gave a little paper to him

"Well, you're in luck, these are both her size" Wednesday couldn't help but chuckle at those words

"Which will it be? Or would you look at more rings?" Wednesday was hesitant, but gold jewelry does looks great on Enid
