A whole week passed, and Enid had a question in her mind, what is Wednesday and her relationship?

They went on a date, well kinda and then basically Wednesday moved in with her.

Enid pulled her shoulder and the temporary captain told her to take a couple of days off to get better

"Willa, I have a question" Wednesday was currently making food for them, Enid sat on the counter and watched her friend work

The goth glanced at her with one eyebrow raised..

"So like we went on a date, which was interesting, then you moved in with me, because you basically live with me now"

Wednesday stopped everything and looked at Enid "is that a problem? I can move back to my apartment, my family isn't here anymore, but I thought you enjoyed my company"

Enid immediately shooked her head
"That's not what I mean, I really enjoy you being here, I mean you cook amazing"

Wednesday pursed her lips "so you're keeping me only to cook for you?" She asked, trying to hide a smirk failing terribly

Enid giggled softly "so what are we?" Wednesday looked at her like Enid did a war crime

She opened her mouth to say something but quickly closed it, not knowing how to respond to that question

The blonde patiently waited..

"I do not know, roommates? Friends?" Wednesday asked and put the food in the oven

Enid felt her heart hurt but nodded "okay" Wednesday washed her hands then walked over to her, then stood in front of Enid

"I see you were expecting something else" Enid was quiet, it was true, she hoped Wednesday would say they're together or could try something

"Enid, I'm not the woman you want a relationship with, I was never good at it, that's why I haven't been dating for years, when you asked me out, I felt some hope that I could do this, but I can't, I appreciate you as a friend but nothing more"

The blonde felt hurt, really hurt, but at least she got an answer to her question

"That's okay, I understand" Enid said quietly not looking at Wednesday, her eyes were fixated on her hands in her lap

Wednesday put her hands on Enid's thighs making her blush and look into her eyes

"I apologize if I hurt your feelings, I did not mean to do that" the goth said looking into Enid's eyes, she looked like she was about to cry

"Can I get a hug?" Wednesday nodded, the blonde pulled her closer and wrapped her arms around her body tightly

Wednesday was hesitant but wrapped her arms around her friend..

She heard Enid sniff, which somewhat hurt her, she didn't know what to do, but began to softly rub the blondes back

Which seemed to relax her friend a little, Enid let out a big sigh then pulled away from the hug

She wiped away her tears and smiled at Wednesday "thank you" the doctor pursed her lips and nodded

"We can do something that you'd like today" Enid raised an eyebrow and thought for a second

"I really want some cookies, can we go and get some?" Wednesday shooked her head as a no

"Oh, okay then-" Wednesday cut her off by looking at her phone "we can make them Enid, I'm not going to get some cheap ass cookies from a store that are dry as the Sahara Desert"
