Interesting thing

Take it slow

Two weeks passed, they let Enid out of the hospital, her ankle was a lot better and the burns are barely visible, and she's already walking around

Even though they told her to take it easy, Enid can't just sit still and do nothing all day

So she went back to work, even though she wasn't going out to save people, they put her on desk duty she still occupied herself through out the day

And didn't just sat home and did nothing all day long..

"Sinclair, what's up?" Divina asked as she leaned over the counter, Enid smiled "not much, planning on seeing Wednesday soon"

The girl raised an eyebrow "don't you see her everyday? And what's up with you two?" Divina asked since Enid didn't tell anyone they're together, not even Divina

"We do live together, but lately she's been working night shifts, so when I'm at work, she sleeps, I get home, she gets up and leaves and today she's on a day shift and I want to surprise her"

Divina pursed her lips and nodded..

"And yes, uhm.. We're together" Divina's mouth fell opened and gasped

"For how long?! How come you didn't tell me!" She whisper shouted at Enid, who laughed

"For two weeks now, and I didn't know how Wednesday would feel about people knowing it, so only you know it and it stays like that until she feels good about telling people"

Divina nodded with a big smile on her face "I'm happy for you, want me to cover you while you see your girl?" Enid nodded

"Thank you, i'll be back soon" she pulled Divina into a hug, then grabbed her bag and left the station

The hospital isn't far away from it, a half hour walk, which Enid could easily do with her ankle now, she listened to some music as she walked

She bought some dark chocolate for Wednesday, and a black teddy bear with a heart in his hands, she didn't know how Wednesday will feel about it

Enid hoped she would be happy..

"Excuse me dear" an old lady stopped Enid on the street "hi, how can I help?"  She asked in a sweet tone, and pulled her headphones out

"You're a firefighter right?" Enid nodded smiling at the old lady "could you help me carry these up?" She pointed at the grocery bags

The blonde nodded "of course" she took the bags from the woman, which was pretty heavy, but she likes helping people

And she lifted way heavier things before..

The lady thanked her as they walked upstairs, Enid put the bags on the counter for the lady "thank you dear, I'm Caroline, I asked some people hut they wouldn't help me"

Enid bit her lip "well I'm sorry about those jerks, but I'm Enid, and I'm happy to help, if you need help just call our station and ask for me, but now I need to go, I have something to take care of, take care Caroline!"

The woman nodded and thanked Enid again, the blonde closed the door behind herself and continued her way over to the hospital

She got there and walked in with a big smile on her face, she went to the counter "hey, do you happen to know where Wednesday is?"

The nurse looked at Enid and smiled
"She's on her lunch break, in the cafeteria" Enid smiled back at her

"Awesome, thank you" the nurse nodded and watched Enid walk away, the blonde went to the cafeteria, where she saw Wednesday chatting with her friends
