It had been a month since Lillian had seen the Doctor, and eleven months since Sam had died, gone to Hell, and then came back; Dean was still unaware of the last development, which Lillian had mixed feelings about, as she would be pissed off if someone kept that information from her, but Dean got out of the hunting life, and knowing Sam was alive would suck him back in. As for Sam's current location, Lillian had no idea, her older brother had started hunting with Mary's father, who had been pulled down from Heaven, so Sam didn't feel the need to contact Lillian, which annoyed both herself and Bobby.

"Lily Winchester, do you mind coming to Texas, I have a poltergiest?" A hunter friend of Lillian's, Jake, asked, over the phone.

"No! It's a poltergiest. Salt and burn the remains, and purify the house. It's simple. I killed a poltergiest when I was 14, you're 35." Lillian answered.

"Well, it was worth a shot. See you." Jake said, as he hung up the phone.

Bobby then walked back into the home, as he was collecting the mail, and said, "Lillian, you've got a letter."

Lillian stood up from her seat in the kitchen and met Bobby in the living room, where he handed her a TARDIS blue envelope, with the number two on the back, she opened it and the only contents were a card with a date, a time, and co-ordinates for somewhere within the contiental United States. "Bobby, you have any idea where this is?" Lillian asked, handing him the letter.

"I'll find out."

Utah was not Lillian's favourite place, and especially not the dessert in Utah, so as soon as she parked and saw the Doctor, she said,  "Of all the places in the US, you chose somewhere that's a seventeen hour drive from where I was."

"You could've got a plane, then drove the rest of the way." The Doctor responded, leaning against a car, presumably the one he used to get to Monument Valley.

"No, that involves buying a plane ticket, renting a car, and then driving here, when you'll probably take me back in the TARDIS. Luckily, this car is shit, and Bobby didn't mind me leaving it in the desert." Lillian told him, as she sat on the front of the Doctor's car, finally taking notice of the cowboy hat the Doctor was wearing, but before she could say anything, a school bus pulled up, and Amy and Rory got off.

"Howdy!" The Doctor said.

"Really?" Lillian asked the Time Lord, before turning to her friends and shouting, "Hey!"

"Ha-ha! It's the Ponds! Hello, Ponds, come here!" The Doctor said, as he hugged Amy and Rory.

"Lily! What is he wearing on his head?" Amy asked, as she hugged Lillian, the Winchester shrugged.
