you looked at my eyes a little too long to be nothing more than friends

7:08pmI was sitting in my office, looking at my notes.Today I trained recruits that wanted to try out as snipers.I took notice of a few of them...
Aaron Smith. He has great aim,his hands arent shaky...he is just amazing.
Gioni Abel and Zane Vesper...great skills, they know how to handle the pressure very well.
Victor Croft. He is quiet,silent...he moves like a shadow.
And last but not least...
Rin Avery.She is good,really good.
But I have a bad feeling about that girl.
Something about her being around König so much...ugh...I dont know.Im keeping an eye on her.
I was just reading my notes, lost in my own mind, but a knock at the door snapped my mind.I looked up
"come in!"I gently said, not knowing who to expect.Ghost walked in,with a plate in his hand.
"I have special delivery for miss Jane here"he said and I chuckled."Thank you Simon...come,sit!"I said, gently patting the chair next to me.
"I was actually thinking...do you want to go to the roof maybe? It has a pretty view."He said and I simply nodded. We then began walking towards the rooftop."so,how was your day?"he asked as I lazily walked next to him.
"terrible."i said and he chuckled
"and why exactly is that?"he said while looking down at me
"a lot of work...but I saw some great snipers, definitely could be useful on some missions when we need a lot more people.how about you?you were training combat, right?"i said."yeah,i saw some people too."he said, his heavy British accent making me chuckle
"hmm...thats good.""y'know, that konig guy...he looks a little tired these days too."ghost said as we almost reached the stairs that lead to the roof.
"ugh, its just a lot of work, thats why." i replied as we reached the stairs.as we climbed up,i felt the chilly breeze on my skin.i looked around and saw that we had company.two figures were sitting on the edge of the roof.
i climbed up,finally standing up on my feet.i dusted myself off as i tried to look at the 2 figures.i recognized one of them,it was rin,my rookie, and the one next to her was...familiar.
it took me a few moments before realizing who it was.
it was König.
Fucking König.
I just froze in one place. Not moving. Not even a little.
"Um,miss Jane?Move your butt,I want to climb up!"Ghost said below me.I gently moved to the side, and as he climbed up,I just started climbing back down. The moment I started climbing down,König turned around and saw us.
I felt tears swelling my eyes.I dont know why,but I felt sad.It was a weird,a confusing feeling.
I jumed off the ladder and started fast walking down the hall.I heard Ghost calling my name from behind, and I just couldn't stop. There was a storm in my head,a pounding rush in my stomach.I felt sick.I started running towards the hall where my barrack was.
I was looking down at the floor and everything was just spinning.Suddenly,I bumped into someone and fell to the ground.I immediately started apologizing
"I-I'm so sorry...I-I need to go.."I was out of my breath.I looked up and realized that I bumped into Aaron. He was one of my recruits.
"Hey,hey, easy there...relax."He tried to calm me down as he picked me up from the ground
"What happened?"He asked"Its nothing...I just really need to go."I tried to make an excuse and I started walking away
"Okay...well,see you tomorrow at training."He said, and I just waved back at him and started making my way back to my barracks.I walked into my room and just plopped on the bed.I was tired, and I quickly drifted off to sleep.
