"Jayla? You haven't called me in a while. Is something wrong?" -Ian asked me.
No, not much has changed here. -I said to him.
"Are you sure? You sound a bit concerned here." -Ian said to me.
Well you do know how to spot somebody when someone is trying to lie. Alright then, I'll say it. For some reason I still feel hungry for some reason before I take a drink of blood. -I said to him.
"Seriously? Did you eat a human over there? What is going on with you today?" -He asks.
First I'll quickly explain the context, then I'll explain what happened later. -I said to him.
"Alright go on." -He responds.
First, I got captured and whoever was with me was trying to drain my soul. Thankfully it didn't worked as it was 'slow'. -I said to him.
"Wait...what? He was trying to drain your soul? What is he, a demon?" -He asks.
No, he's actually a human, just like Earth. He carries soul drainers if a person dies here and keeps them in holds. He was trying to drain my soul because I was unique to him. -I said to Ian. He just stays there completely shocked.
"Holy shit...the things humans do to others. Is he worse then you when it comes to punishments?" -He says to me.
Far from it. Because it never worked. I pretended I was dead...when I never died anyways. -I said to him.
"Huh? What do you mean by that Jayla?" -Ian asked me. He was confused.
I died before, after I infected as a vampire and before the Void Demons possessed me. Another cannibal sliced my head off completely. If it wasn't for the Figure helping me, I probably would have been eaten for good. That's how you kill a cannibal anyways, by completely eating the entire body so that they don't heal. -I said to him.
"So...you're technically immortal? Like full on immortality?" -Ian asks me.
I guess so. Anyways, I was able to break out and drain his soul instead using his own tool. After that, the soul drainer killed him. After it killed him, you pretty know what happened next, I left the area and for some reason, my eyes was still red. -I said to Ian.
"So you ate him and for some reason you felt hungry? He didn't satisfy you?" -He asks.
I don't know. When I head back to my apartment and drank some blood, my eyes went back to normal. I guess me eating him didn't help me out, or maybe it did but my eyes are still bright red. -I said to Ian.
"Maybe the body did help you out. I hope it's just your eyes or you probably need to satisfy yourself much more then normally. I guess it's due to you being a half vampire." -Ian says to me.
I hope that is the case. Over here, someone told me they are a librarian. Maybe there is library somewhere around here to help me. -I said to Ian.
"Really? Have you went there yet?" -Ian asks me.
Not yet. I just hope this doesn't happen often. The last thing I wanted is going insane. You clearly know what happens when I do go insane, multiple times. -I said to him.
"Yeah, I know. You are brutal. Well I really hope you can find your answers at the library you are hopefully mentioning." -Ian say to me.
Let's hope so as well. Also before I go, tell everyone I said hello. -I said to Ian.
"Will do. See you soon Jayla!" -Ian says.
I hang up and set my phone on my bed. I just stare at a wall infront of me and stand there for a minute. I head back to the living room and just sat down on the sofa the apartment has. I had my head up and sigh.
Why wasn't I satisfied after drinking blood before I head to the facility and after eating Tiris? Is it because I have to eat more? I actually don't even know what is wrong with me, I think it's best for me to head to a library and hope they have something relating to vampires. -I said to myself. I got up and walk over to the kitchen and drink one final drink before putting my mask back on my face. I finally head back to my room to grab my axe and my sword and left my apartment.
I head over to my safe zone of Haven and I noticed whenever I use my map, there are a couple of things for me to take a look at. One of them is the contracts I had to do if needed and the other one is what I need to do for my magics. I take a look at what I need to do and I still need to train acid and do some endurance. Thankfully, it has a system in place, allowing others to see where do we go next, no matter which planet we are in.
I was close to being done with the acid test but there was one thing I need to do, head to a library.
