Pure Magic

The Library

I looked around the safe zone hoping there is somebody I can ask about where the library is at. I don't see anyone I know so I just stand by and hope there is someone there I can talk to. After a bit, I wanted to test out my damage on the other magics I have done. The dummies weren't that bad when it comes to the technology the world has. It took a bit for me to even take down the defense dummy. As I was finishing training myself on the dummies, I noticed someone was watching at how well I was doing. I turn around to face them.

"Wow. I didn't expect you to do well already Jayla! You only been here for a couple of days now." -They said.

Oh, it's you. Red right? -I asked.

"Yep that's me. Wasn't you gonna train somewhere else? What are you doing here?" -Red asks me.

Can I not be here? That's rude of you to say. Anyways, you said you was a librarian right? Do you know where the library is at? There's something important I need to know about. -I said to him.

"Yep. You remembered, and we do have a library here, a big one in fact. I'll show you where it is." -Red explains.

We both make our way to the library. Apparently, it was below the main island of the safe zone. We had to use a rope to get down there and another rope to climb up to the safe zone. When we did enter the library, it is huge. There was a lot of books everywhere, as well as a few stairs that goes up by 2 floors. There are 3 floors of the library in general.

I was amazed about the library itself, there is literally so many books everywhere. I looked around and try to find anything relating to monsters of any kind. It was on the second floor when I found a section about monsters. Most of them are about the Void Entities.

I looked around for a bit and even read some of the books about them. I sat down and read one when someone sat down next to me.

"Hey there." -He says.

Jeb? What are you doing here? -I said to him.

"Not much, I check here every now and then to see if there is anything interesting here. The library is huge and all but it most of the books here doesn't really interests me." -Jeb explains.

Well then. Which books would you read if there is any? -I asked.

"Probably books about history of Japan during the 1600's. Always wondered how life has been over there from back then and even now. Too bad Japan doesn't exist here in this world at all. I questioned if Japan even exist for some reason or if it's just a made up thing." -Jeb explains.

Maybe you could believe it, that's for you to decide. But I have a question for you. -I say to him. He turns to look at me.

"What is it?" -He asks.

Isn't there a section about monsters in this library? There is something I need to know. -I asked him.

"I think so, third floor to your right, you should eventually see a section about it, if that is what you're asking." -Jeb said to me.

Thanks. -I said to him as I get up from the sofa.

I look around the library and I noticed there is a spiral staircase at the middle of the library. I head there and slowly make my way up to the third floor. I look around and he isn't kidding about the section I was looking for. I head over there and try to find a couple of books about Void Entitles and Vampires. I found one about vampires that looks interesting so I grabbed it and sit down on a sofa nearby the section to read it.

The book was really good to read, it does help me out with whatever I was dealing it earlier ago at one of the training areas. For some reason, the reason why I was slowly getting burned by that training area and the fact my eyes was bright red was because I have to satisfy myself a lot more because I've been a vampire for a while now. I'm guessing it was due to the vampire growing up and need more blood but I guess this applies to people who were infected as one. I guess I have to keep myself cool apparently.

I continue reading the book for a bit and find more books about vampires and void entities and I felt like I have enough time in the library as I needed to. I put the books away and head down to the first floor to leave the library.

I made it back to the training area I was supposed to be in and quickly finish what I need to do when it came to training and left as soon as possible. I lift my sleeve up and see another burn mark on my arm. I just stare at it thinking if this is gonna change who I really am. I move my sleeve back down and check what I needed to do and that is endurance. I remember back at Cloud that I was fully done with endurance over there and now I have to start doing endurance here instead. The place was quite difficult to find but I was able to start doing pushups for the first time in a while.

For a few hours, I felt like I have at least finished training at the second endurance area. It really is gonna take a bit to finish training for endurance and the rest of the training areas by the other magics I have done. After a bit, I finally got up and starting to make my way to the safe zone and talked to the hologram.
