A friend missing another friend (TMWU)

Back at Earth, everyone is just doing their own thing. The Zombies are there smacking each other heads. The Demons are just there sharping their horns. Everything is just normal. Me, Derek, Ian and the Figure is just walking around keeping a eye out on everyone, hoping no one deals with any funny business. However, at the back of my mind, I noticed the Figure does get aggressive like he normally would but would sometimes fall behind while we was walking forward. I just wondered what is up with him for the past couple of weeks because before, he wasn't here for a while and now that is he is back, he just acts weird. It's most like due to Jayla not being here with him but it doesn't make any sense, he was perfectly fine way before Jayla was even around and when she did, it felt like she changed him.

Regardless, I left the group behind and head up to the werewolf area of the house and just take some drinks of water after a long bit of walking. I'm okay with walking, let alone running but I gotta take a break at times you know.

"Hey Kaden! How's it been buddy?" -One guy said to me as he waves at me. I look up to see him walking towards me and sits down at the table in front of me.

Not much man. What about you? -I said to him.

"I noticed you have been walking with your friends recently then hanging out with us. What's been going on lately?" -He asks me.

What are you talking about? I would always come by because I have to go here. That is literally what I do everytime I'm done talking with my friends. -I said to him.

"You haven't been here for a while recently and when you do, you just head to sleep immediately. Not even play basketball with us, running around in the woods outside or even talk to us at all. It's like as soon as you head to this side of the house, you just think we don't exist." -He said to me.

It's because I miss someone and someone else deeply miss them more then me. They are a pretty good friend to me. I had to keep a eye on them every now and then to see if they don't get worse when it comes to them being aggressive. -I say to him.

"Oh, I think I might know who you are talking about. Jayla isn't it? She was pretty popular very quickly when she came here. Seem like the monster who is supposed to the right head man of the headmaster apparently became obsessed with her huh?" -He says that to me as I was done drinking the water. I slowly got up and just stare him down.

I get when you're heading from but just because I'm a good friend to her, that doesn't mean someone else is missing her as well. While yes, I do miss her from time to time, that other person would be in a worse position. If he has the chance to talk to her, he would have done so. -I said to him.

"Speaking about her. Do you even know where she went? You think she'll just abandon you and your friends just like that?" -He asks me.

You think I know? Just me wondering about her is like going down a rabbit hole. Her just coming here is a mystery to me. -I said to him and just take a deep breath. I turn around and just leave him with saying nothing else and just leave the area to meet up with everyone else.

I walk around the house to find Ian and Derek just staying by Jayla's room with the Figure no where in sight.

Uh, you guys know where the Figure is at? -I ask them both.

"He's in Jayla room. Always heads there every now and then to remember her I guess." -Derek said to me.

Isn't he not supposed to be in there anyways? -I ask him.

"Yeah but he breaks that rule to just try and find a way to see her again." -Derek explains.

Heh. Damn, someone is obsessed. -I said to him.
