Chapter Nine

Scarlet

Waking up with a pounding headache I clutch my head. I open my eyes little by little to adjust my eyes to the sun. When they're fully open I'm fully confused. I'm not in my room and not in my house. That's when it all comes back to me. I was racing and then my mate got me. Wait, where's my car? Is that really what you should be worrying about Scarlet? There's no sign of my mate so I get up and open the door to my room.

When I open the door I'm greeted by two wolves. They immediately see me and bring back into the room by my arms. I can sense they are both high ranked wolves but they're more powerful than others. One has light brown hair with dark brown eyes. The other has blond hair with baby blue eyes. They both release my arms. They kind of look familiar.

"Sorry Luna, we were told to not let you leave." I smile at brown eyes which said that. He seems really nice just by how he speaks.

"It's okay Ryan and Alex." I just say names off of the top of my head. Both of the boys look at me with disbelief and I'm confused.

"How do you know are names?" Asks blondy which I call Alex. Wait did he just say I know their names I was just guessing. I start to break out into laughter which gets them further more confused. I finally get a hold of myself and say.

"I was just guessing and I met you last night Ryan. Where is my car?" They start to laugh a little at me guessing there names, but stop at the mentioning of my car and Ryan goes to speak.

"Your car is parked outside it's fine, don't worry." When they finish they leave me to myself in the room. I guess no one ever thought of putting me in a room with no windows. Waddling over to the windows I notice we are on the third floor and I see my car, this is going to be an easy escape. I start to climb down I could have just jumped but I don't feel like it, I'm pretty lazy in the morning.

When I get down I see my car and make my way towards it stealthily. I quickly get in and lock the doors behind me. I see all my things in here meaning my phone, shoes, and money. I look up real quick to see a car pulling in and Ryan and Alex running outside looking franticly for me. My mate gets out of the car and Alex tells him about me missing. I shrink in my seat somewhat as I search for my keys.

"WHAT?!!" He yells looking utterly pissed. Then he looks in the direction of my car and starts walking towards me. Shit, shit, shit, I have to go now. I turn on my car and quickly start driving. My mate starts to tell commands to the people in his pack.

A few seconds later I have cars tailing me. I don't know where I'm going so I just have to wing it. I end up losing them due to me racing all the time.

I end up near the café close to my house so I park my car and go inside. What? I'm hungry, and I'm not a very happy person without food in my system. I order a coffee and a croissant to go.

I get in my car and start it up and my phone begins to ring. Without looking at the caller id I answer. It must be Noah because I said I would call but forgot and I kind of got kidnapped? Teennapped? 

"Hey Noah, what's going on? I'm so sorry I forgot to call." I say into the phone while putting my coffee in the cup holder.

"Who the hell is Noah?!?" The familiar voice of my mate rages, shit. This is not good, this is very, very, bad. I instantly hang up and start to drive home.

 Upon seeing my house I release a mall sigh and park my car. Slamming the car door shut behind me, I hobble up the steps. Throwing open the house door I smile, finally home.

 Hobbling up the stairs to my room I shove my remaining croissant into my mouth. I literally want to marry whoever made it. Throwing open my bedroom door I wince from the bang it made from coming into contact with the wall.

Removing my dress I jump in the shower to get all the grim off me. Once I'm finished I get out and dry up. I put on a outfit I just bought yesterday and I leave my long hair down to dry. Today I want to go to the mall to buy some clothes and things for Noah and Alex.

When I get to the mall all I could think was the place is freaking huge. Before coming to the mall I had talked to Noah and told him about everything. I needed someone to talk to and he is probably the best person to talk to.

Waddling into the mall some guys make cat calls. Being lazy I don't reply with a smartass comment and give them a small wave. Looking down at my phone to play music I bump into someone who smells really familiar. Looking up to see my best friend my mouth is immediately wide open from excitement. He starts to laugh and I jump on his back what I wanted was a piggy back ride from my best friend.

"Why are you here?" I ask Noah who is walking towards a candy shop. This kid has such a sweet tooth. I swear if I were to leave him in here alone he would buy the whole place.

"I'm here because I didn't want my best friend to be lonely and I didn't get you a birthday present." I smile, he wants to get me a present but I keep telling him no. A loud growl breaks me out of my thought and I turn to see my mate. Jumping off of Noah's back I yell "Run!!" Noah didn't think twice, he was out like a bolt of lightning and so was I. Ahead of me I see Noah get tackled and I couldn't help but laugh which he heard. He sends me the bird which I gladly return. That was when I was tackled to the ground too but by my mate.

"I will yell rape if you don't let me and my friend go." I threaten my mate and he just laughs it off. Fine, but I wasn't joking buddy boy.

"RAPE... HELP... SOMEONE!!" I yell and he looks at me with disbelief. I take that time to run and so does Noah. When we get to the car we cant stop laughing. If you could have seen his face you wouldn't stop either. I drive us home and put the things I bought away.
