Scarlett Sage, a lost soul that turned to some night hobbies...
RECAP "Damn it Scarlet, I'm sorry, ok. I fucked up. I was drunk and I shouldn't have slept with that girl. I thought you didn't want me. I-I- I'm sorry. What the hell is wrong with me. Damn it!" I walk out of the room still feeling down and hurt. I hear things being thrown from inside his room.
I walk to Isaiah's room and knock on the door. A shirtless Isaiah answers the door. I look up and see surprise on his face. He see s the emotions running across my face and pulls me into his room. I end up on the bed with him snuggling into me. I invite his warmth to me.
"It's okay to cry. If you hold it in to long you'll just explode one day. Crying is not a sign weakness it just means you have been strong for too long. Let it all out I promise it will make you feel better. I will always be here for you," I let silent tears roll down my face at his words. I cry for everything that has ever happened to me. I cry for my brother and parents. I cry because of the betrayal I received. Just like that I feel better and I'm instantly knocked (sleeping) out. ________________________________________________________________________________ Scarlet's POV I open my eyes feeling groggy and am face to chest with Isaiah right now. I lift my body, well try to lift my body but I'm instantly pulled back down. I look at his sleeping face and he just looks so peaceful. Then he starts mumbling.
"I love you, Scarlet" My eyes widen at his sleep confession, it's really cute though, but I'm not here to focus on mates though. I need to find my brother. I shake Isaiah awake and he groans, opening his eyes.
"'Come on, get your butt up. I need you to help me," he gets off the bed and kisses my forehead and goes to the bathroom. I walk back into my room and wash my face, freshening up. Out of nowhere I hear my door being thrown open. My eyes then land on the one and only Ryder. I can tell both him and his wolf are fighting for control. Quickly he stalks towards me and grabs my arm. He does a quick sniff of me and a deep growl erupts from the back of his throat. He smells Isaiah on me.
With out warning Ryder is thrown into the wall and I'm engulfed into a pair of arms. Instantly I know it's Isaiah. Ryder releases a warning growl and Isaiah bares his teeth at him. I roll my eyes and get out of Isaiah arms.
"Ryder meet my mate Isaiah, Isaiah meet my douche bag mate Ryder." I say in a careless manner. Isaiah glares at Ryder, and Ryder just looks beyond confused.
"You can't be mated to a-a vampire. Its unheard of," Ryder says baffled. Isaiah rolls his eyes at Ryder.
"If the werewolf has some vampire blood in their body than it is possible and vice versa. There are also some special cases were werewolves and vampires get paired as mates. Werewolf king," Isaiah says mockingly while doing a dramatic bow. Ryder's eyes darken when Isaiah insults him and Isaiah just laughs.
"Okay boy's lets go. We are here to find my brother not fight. Ryder go get everyone down stairs I need to get my things," I say. He hesitantly leaves while I turn around to grab my phone. As I turn around arms encircle me and I lean in a little.
"That was pleasant," Isaiah says laughing. I respond with a small laugh.
"Yes, so pleasant," I say rolling my eyes. With everything I need in my hands we walk down stairs. Upon my arrival everyone faces me. They all then focus on the person next to me, Isaiah. He clears his throat probably feeling awkward from all the staring. I clap my hands in the air getting their attention.
"Okay boys this is Isaiah my second mate," everyone's eyes widen. I roll my eyes at them and continue.
"Yes, he is a vampire and a king. He will be accompanying us for a while. Just be nice, ok? Now lets go," I say eager to find my brother already. We quickly get into cars and drive to where she lived last. As we pull up I see a little book store. We all get out and walk into the store. As we walk in a bell chimes and I go right to the front desk to see an older woman.
"Hello my name is Scarl-" I begin but am interrupted. A horrendous smell of burning skin and a horrible scream of pain erupts from behind me. I quickly turn around to see Ryder on the floor withering in pain. The back of his shirt is burned off and there's a big burn on his back. The woman behind the counter quickly comes out.
"Follow me quickly this boy needs help," she says. She leads us onto a small room with medicinal herbs. The room has a fire place and a bed near it.
"Place him onto the bed there," she says while pointing to the bed. The boys quickly set Ryder down onto the bed.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh," he screams out in pain. Tears gather in his eyes quickly and he screams more while his face turns red. The woman quickly begins working on something. ___________________________________________________________________________-
