Chapter 12 part 2

SHORT RECAP
"I'M SORRY," my eyes fly open and my eyes are blurry with tears and my voice is raw I guess I was crying and screaming in my sleep. I wipe my eyes and see Alex, Noah, Ryder, Alex, and Ryan and if I do say they all look concerned except for Alex. Alex's eyes are filled with remorse and sadness. Why remorse though? 'He's hiding something Scarlet' my wolf speaks up. One of my powers is to read people like through body movement and facial expressions. I glare at him a little.

"What are you hiding Alex and don't lie if you break my trust I don't know what I will do. I thought of you as a father so it better be good," I say narrowing my eyes.

"It's about your b---

"It's about your brother. He may still be alive with a witch named Isabella. Isabella was a very good friend of your mothers. I didn't tell you because I didn't want to see you runaway looking for him." Alex's face is covered in sadness making any want to reach out and tell him every things okay. Excitement fills my body first then dread. I have to find my brother before he gets him. If I don't find my brother something bad can happen.

"Where does Isabella live exactly?" I ask Alex.

"The last I heard was that she was in Ireland," he says.

That is how we are now on a private plane to Ireland. Ryder tried to stop me but didn't so now he's with me. We got into a fight and now I'm not talking to him. He has no right to try to keep me from looking for my brother. I have to know if my brother is dead or alive. I'm still slightly mad at Alex but I understand why he kept that from me.

When we land Alexander, Alex, Noah, Ryder and last but not least me, actually how about this we all get off the plane. The boy's go to the bathroom while I run around looking for something good to buy. I end up getting a coffee, a croissant, candy, a book, a baseball, and well actually that's it. I sit down with my luggage and bags to eat and wait for the boy's. When they come out I wave so they see me. The only thing is I don't see Ryder with them. When they sit down at the table I lean into Noah.

"Where's Ryder?" I whisper into his ear.

"He's getting a coffee at Dunkin Donuts." He whispers back. I don't know why but I get up excusing myself and head over to Dunkin Donuts. When I get there I'm not prepared for what I see. Ryder is kissing a girl. I don't walk up to them I simply take a picture and watch what happens next. She gives him her number and walks away and he gets back in line like nothing happened. Seeing her kiss him made me feel like I was betrayed by my mom. I walk back to Noah and he sees my face.

"Hey guy's I'm gonna bring Scarlet to the hotel since were both tired." He tells Alex and them. He grabs my bags and luggage and walks with me to a taxi. When we get in he pulls me into a big hug.

"What happened baby girl you look like you seen a ghost." I laugh at the nick name making him smile.

"Ryder's my mate and he was kissing some random girl at Dunkin Donuts. He even got her number I didn't do anything stupid like punching the girl. I just took a picture and walked away. He's lucky I didn't punch him in the face." Noah looks beyond angry. I never seen him like this before.

"He's a dead man I don't care if he's a king. Show me the picture." What's worrying is that Noah sounds serious. I show him the picture and his eyes spell murder. He keeps me in a hug until we get to the hotel. We decide to share a room to save money. When I get into the room I go straight to the shower. After an hour I get out, drying myself off I get dressed.

Walking back into the room Noah's standing there with movies in his hand. On the counter is a box of pizza, ice creams, chips, soda, and candy.

"So which movie do you want to watch bestie. Cause I know I really want to watch white chicks," I nod my head excitedly because White Chicks is my favorite.

"See this is why your my best friend. Promise me no matter what happens we will always be best friends. We won't let anyone even our mates come between us. We will always be there to help and comfort each other when no one is." I don't even have to think about my answer.

"I will stand by you when no one else will. You are and always will be my best friend. If I ever get amnesia I promise I will make sure to remember you," At the last part he bursts out laughing with me.

"This sounds to much like a wedding vow. Lets call it the best friend vow," I nod my head in agreement to Noah's proposal.

Once white chick is over Noah and I are jumping from bed to bed. All of the food and drinks is gone. Noah did this for me to make me feel better and I am so thankful. We may or may not have a sugar rush. All of a sudden I stop jumping and Noah does to looking at me curiously.

"We should play ding-dong ditch and go swimming. I reallllyyyy want to swim now lets go. Actually ding-dong ditch first." That is how we ended up hiding behind a wall.

"Who is it," then there's a pause. "Hello," I hear the door open. Then it closes.

"Let's have a race to see how many people we can wake up in just 10 minutes. I'll get the floor below us use the mind link to start ok." I nod my head .

"Lets do this!" I whisper excitedly. He goes down the stairs and I walk out of where we were. As I go to walk past the door we just pranked it opens. A gorgeous guy now replaces the door.

"Were you-"he begins only to be cut off by the fire alarm.

"NOT FAIR NOAH THATS CHEATING," I yell running to the pool room. Doors all around me open with frantic looking people. I start to laugh a little. I make to the pool room and see Noah standing next to the pool. An evil plan makes its way into my head.

"That was soooo cheating," I pout childishly while he laughs. Fake tears gather in my eyes getting his attention.

"Don't laugh at me," I sob out. Noah's face pales and he looks worried. He comes closer and I start laughing hysterically in my head.

"Baby girl I'm-" he doesn't get to finish because he is now in the pool. I start laughing so much that my stomach starts to hurt. His face is priceless. He emerges from the water and tries to get out but falls back in making me laugh harder. All of a sudden he's out and running at me making me stop laughing and start running. I take the stairs two at a time not looking back. I reach the door and look back while pushing the door open. I'm still looking back when I run into something. I fall backwards from the impact of colliding with someone. I close my eyes waiting for the impact but it doesn't come. Instead there's a pair of hands on my waist steadying me.

When I look up I see the guy from earlier. You know the one that we ding-dong ditch, ya that one. I smile up at him sheepishly.

"Dear bestie of mine where'd ya go." I look around frantically for a place to hide when I feel tugging on my hand. It's mystery guy and he nods his head towards a room. I feel sparks from where he touches my hand. I ignore it for now and follow him. I know what your thinking. 'You don't know the guy and your following him' but hey I know I can get away if needed.

I put my back against the door a close my eyes. I slow my breathing and mask my scent. I listen to Noah's foot steps and hear him run to the end of the hall. A door a opens and then closes meaning Noah left. I open my eyes and face mystery man.

"Thank you mystery man," I say my eyes roaming his body. I don't know why but I feel a connection to him.

"Your very welcome beautiful. The names Isaiah," he sticks his hand out and I reach my hand out and shake. Sparks erupt all over and I pull my hand back surprised. I look up at Isaiah and his eyes are completely dark.

"Scarlet," I say quickly and grab the door handle and go to open it. It's pushed closed and I'm pinned to the door by Isaiah's body. His nuzzles his nose into my neck hugging me. We both inhale and freeze. Isaiah's a vampire and by the looks of it he is confused by my scent.
