Confusion || minsung

The first message came two months after Minho's weird question while they watched that anime.

> Ji, sorry to bother you, but could you sleep at Hyunjin's and Felix's tonight? I'm bringing someone over

It was Friday night and Jisung was eating pizza as he played an intense round of Board Game Island in Seungmin's Wii party against Felix, Hyunjin, Jeongin and the owner of the game console himself.

They were having a 'freshmen only' night, as they liked to call them. Normally, they were on Saturdays, but this time Minho had ditched his and Jisung's movie night, so the boys had moved the hangout to Friday instead because it fit better with all their plans for the weekend.

It had happened a few times already, actually. Minho ditching movie night. The first time, Jisung had been shocked beyond belief, but tried to hide his surprise as best as he could.

He wouldn't admit that he had been a bit sad too at the sudden change of plans.

Then, it started happening more. Not just movie nights, Minho would also randomly disappear at lunch time or wouldn't come home for dinner. He would always explain how he had somewhere else he needed to be, but never tell him where. Jisung could tell by Minho's behavior that the boy was hiding something. Someone, probably.

However, this had been the first time Minho had asked him to leave the dorm for the night, and Jisung's suspicions basically got confirmed.

His best friend was seeing someone, in a romantic way.

The idea didn't sit right in Jisung's mind.

He read the message, it wasn't his turn to play now so he decided quickly on a reply. He didn't want to keep rereading the message but he couldn't tear his eyes away from it.

In reality, he was sighing and with furrowed eyebrows, not smirking and winking in a playful and mischievous way. Jeongin saw and paused the game, thinking Jisung might need comfort right now by how he looked.

"Everything okay, Sung?" he asked, sitting down next to the older on the floor.

"Yeah. Jin, Lix, can I stay over tonight?" he tossed his phone over the couch on his back and looked up to his friends with a half-forced smile.

"Sure, why not? Did something happen?" answered Hyunjin with a curious expression on his face.

"Minho's bringing someone over and wants the dorm to himself tonight." he briefly explained. Saying it out loud didn't feel right for some reason and he couldn't keep the fake smile on.

"And why's that something bad?" now it was Seungmin's turn to ask.

"It isn't! I never said it was!" he laughed, waving his hands in the air to further prove whatever point he thought he was making.

"Well you did look like it."

The ginger shrugged, but the conversation didn't go on. They turned the game back on and kept playing as if nothing had happened. But something had happened and Jisung couldn't get the stupid message off his head no matter how hard he tried.

He was all night there, but not really there.

His friends cought on on his absentminded state rather quickly, but it was freshmen only night so they used it against him and Jisung ended up loosing at every game by the hands of the established group's forces of evil: Seungmin and Jeongin.
