its not our place anymore

It was Saturday morning and Syd was about to follow her Saturday morning routine.
7:30am- wake up
7:35am- bake something sweet
8:00am- ride cupcake
8:35am- groom cupcake
9:00am- shower
9:20am- get ready
9:35- farmers market
10:30am- go home & study
11:30am- paint
After that she does whatever her heart desires.
She was out riding Cupcake when she noticed Cole showing Jackie Custard, his horse, he was very protective of Custard, he was his comfort blanket, he cried so hard in Sydney's arms when he realised that not only could he not played football anymore, he couldn't ride Custard for at least a year maybe even more. She noticed the time and saw she had to put Cupcake away.
"Hey, I'm Sydney, your Jackie right?" She welcomed her with a hug, Jackie didn't look too thrilled to see her and to be hugged by her. "Yeah, hi, nice to meet you" she then left the two, watching them from the pouch. "Well, she seems erm nice" she laughed, "yeah, she is" he gave her a tight smile, he looked down at his watch "isn't it time for you too groom cupcake?" and walked away.

A while later

"All finished with your morning routine?" Alex said as Sydney walked into the Walter kitchen, "yep, all finished and I brought over brownies" "oooo yummy, Cole's favourite I see" "Nooooo, everyone loves raspberries and white chocolate brownies" of course she made Cole's favourite, after they shared their kiss at the watering hole she couldn't stop thinking about it and wanted to do something nice for him as a thank you. "Hmm sure, well he's not here so I'd hide some for him before everyone eats them" "good idea, when did you get so smart Alex?" She laughed and put some on a plate and took them into his room, placing them on his bedside table with a note on the plate

She ran back down the stairs to find Nathan and Danny in the front room, "Hey guys"she sat down with them trying to join in on conversation, "what you guys talking about?" Intrigued on what they were gossiping about, "just Jackie and Cole" "oh what about them?" she felt that feeling in her stomach again "Cole took her too the watering hole, that's why they weren't here for dinner the other day". She felt her heart breaking into small pieces, her hands getting clammy, tears filling in her eyes, "i-i have to g-go-o" she stood up grabbing her bag, she ran into the stables and climbed up the ladder too the loft. She sat on the couch, tears falling down her face, how could he? that was their place, he took her there for a romantic picnic and kissed her, he KISSED her!! She hated him right now, she never wanted to see him or talk to him again.

Later that night

Cole walked into his bedroom when he saw the brownies and the note, he smiled, she made his favourite and made sure there was some left for him because he knew his siblings and cousins would have eaten them all, he took a bite of one and he moaned because of how good they were.
