"Your last phone conversation with Thor got us all wondering..." Clint looks sideways at me and makes a face. Even though, he's the one who raised the question, it seems he's not really comfortable talking about it.
"What do you mean?" I frown and stuff my mouth with a new piece of peperoni pizza, almost burning my tongue with it.
"Did you get many spankings as a kid?" Sam asks, smirking. Obviously, he's not too shy to go into more details.
I take a quick glance at Bucky. "Uh, as a kid? No," I answer, without giving it a second thought.
Tony's eyes widen. "Wait a minute. Wait a minute!" he shouts and points at me, as if accusing me already of something.
"Agh! I-... No, wait!" I quickly cover my mouth, then bury my face in palms, hiding the crimson blush that creeped up my cheeks. "That's not what I meant," I mutter from behind my palms, but with the corner of my eye catch Bucky preparing his metal arm for action. My core catches fire. "Oh, never mind..." I sigh and look up laughing.
"And you'll enjoy them so much more with my new arm. That's a promise," Bucky says with a mischievous smirk on his lips.
His deep, raspy voice reaches all the way to my core. "Whenever you're up for it..." I say and blow him a kiss.
Bucky takes a look at his metal arm and nods proudly. "Finally, I can put it to some good use," he murmurs under his breath.
Steve spins his head to him. "Really, man?!" he scolds him, outraged.
"I bet you want to try it too," I tease and wink Steve's way.
The room bursts out in laughter, Steve raises his arms in defeat. He knows there's no way he could end up on top at this kind of debate. Not with me, anyway.
A mischievous grin spreads across my lips. "Well, forget about it. This man is all mine," I growl.
"Damn right, sweetheart!" Bucky roars, and pulls me into a sweetspot contracting, soul-awakening kiss.
"J A M E S ..." I moan uncontrolled into his mouth.
Bucky leans back and raises his hand up to my face. Teasingly, he runs his thumb across my lips. "Looking for trouble?" he asks quietly, yet his velvety voice is full of promise.
My breathing gets even heavier. "I love being in trouble with you," I sigh, staring into his mesmerizing blue eyes.
Bucky presses his soft lips to my forehead, tenderly kissing it. "Later..." he breathes out and lingers on my scent. His warm breath fills my lungs and our minds already wander off to that later.
"You're the most complicated person I ever met," Steve's grouchy tone brings me back to here and now.
"Haven't been out much huh, cutie?" I chuckle and shake my head. His comment doesn't bother me. I'm way past feeling bad about myself for his narrow-minded view at the world and people around him. But I know who still gets quickly irritated by it.
Loki takes my hand into his and intertwines our fingers. Looking deeply into my eyes, he smiles. "Once you get to know her you realize, there's only one thing that truly matters to her," he purrs with his soft, velvety voice, without breaking the eye contact.
