Loki's eyes light up. "I have a surprise for you," he says with a huge grin plastered all over his adorable face.
I raise my eyebrows. "Another one?" I squeak in surprise.
"Something for all of us, actually" he says smiling. Enthusiastically, he takes my hand and leads us all out of the bedroom, all the way down the hallway. He resembles a little kid, who's anxious to show us a big project he has been working on. His every second step is a tiny jump, his hands are crazily waving through the air due the excitement.
All of a sudden, he stops in his tracks, slides one arm around my waist and pulls me closer. Proudly, he straightens himself up and nods, indicating that this is the place he wanted to show us. Bucky and Thor exchange a confused look. We're namely standing in front of an empty wall, nothing to see on the left, nothing to see on the right. I don't even notice that, as my eyes are fixated on Loki. His excitement is contagious. I can't help myself but to smile too.
After sending me a small wink, Loki waves with his hand, and a mysterious door appears directly in front of me.
I look puzzled at him. "Since when does this room exist?" I ask, raising my eyebrows.
"Since the house was built. I just hid it until we'd need it," he says matter-of-factly, not reveling more.
Bucky narrows his eyes at him. "Until we'd need it? For what?" he asks and crosses his arms.
"For the baby?" Thor quickly suggests.
Loki shakes his head, smiling. Slowly, he opens the door and observes my reaction as he reveals his surprise.
Curious as ever, I look behind the mystery door, where I'm stunned to discover a charming room with a huge bed in the middle of it. My heart starts beating faster. I look at Loki with my big green puppy eyes. "So, this is..." I start quietly, too scared to finish the thought.
"Our new bedroom," Loki completes my sentence, completely stoked.
I try to hide a mischievous grin by biting into my bottom lip. In the shock of the moment, I completely forget that this tiny gesture might have consequences on the other front, which I should've been able to predict.
"Love, stop. Now," Thor whispers in warning. His deep resonant voice however, doesn't leave me unbothered. Everything below my waist reacts in the sweetest way to it.
Bucky clears his throat. "And by our, you hopefully mean..." he says and chuckles nervously.
Loki cocks his head to the side. "Our bedroom. Where all four of us can sleep together," he says slowly, emphasizing the important words. My excitement matches Loki's and he can feel it. Gently, he captures my chin and looks deeply into my eyes. "I expect you to sleep here with me every night," he says with his non-to-be-questioned, dominant voice.
My lips part in response to his promising demand.
"And that's not a request, darling" he emphasizes. His mischievous smirk stars a fire in my core.
"Eager to please, my love," I beam at him.
"Good girl," he growls quietly, and leaves me needing for more as he turns to Thor and Bucky. "And, as far as it goes for you two..." he says in a way as if scolding them, but quickly changes the tone. "You are welcome to join us. Anytime," he emphasizes, knowing, it's what they want, and always hoped for, as well.
