Loki takes my hand. "You're coming with me," he says matter-of-factly and offers me his hand.
I put my hand into his. "Where are we going?" I wonder.
"You'll see," he smiles mischievously, then grabs my hand and already drags me out of the main room, out of the house. He doesn't stop until we reach the entrance of the garden. He takes a few moments as he loses himself in the view in the distance - the morning sun is spreading its rays into all corners of the park, illuminating it with special light, making it look like a magical place.
I lean my head on his shoulder and absorb the tranquility of the scenery.
"C'mon! Let's go," he suddenly says and leads me further into the garden.
By one of the jasmine bushes, I try to stop him. "Lokes..." I whisper and pull him closer by his belt.
Loki's eyes darken.
I sink my teeth into my bottom lip, as the sweet, rich, heavenly, and exotic scent evokes a special memory. A very special memory.
"Deepest apologizes, darling. But now is not the time," he sighs hesitantly.
I wince in disappointment.
"Oh, don't you worry, my love," he smirks. "I'll make it up to you," he smiles and leads me even further into the garden.
Where are we going?
From afar, I can now spot Loki's special bench.
"There?" I beam at him.
Shyly he nods, but keeps walking.
Oh, I remember the last time we were on that bench. It's a night I will never forget.
I stop him in his tracks, put my hand to the nape of his head and pull him into a long, passionate kiss.*****
Bucky comes up to Thor. "It feels like your best man is warming up the bride-to-be for you," he smiles cheeky.
"Yeah," Thor chuckles, but the very next moment it hits him. "Wait..." he swallows hard. "Do you think he has to persuade her?" he chokes out.
Bucky frowns. "Persuade her?!" he repeats after him, surprised.
"What if she changes her mind?!" Thor panics.
Bucky rolls his eyes. "You're kidding, right?" he can't believe his ears.
Thor lowers his head. His mind is all over the place. "It could happen," he says quietly, as if afraid to be true.
"Don't make me smack you, Thunder" Bucky warns him.
Thor keeps his gaze on his feet. Nervously, he fidgets with his hands.
"Tell me two words that come to your mind when you think of her," Bucky starts.
"Strong. Smart," he answers matter-of-factly.
"Now, name two things why she loves you," Bucky continues.
"I don't know," Thor sighs.
Bucky narrows his eyes on him. "Last warning," he hisses.
Thor swallows the lump that formed in his throat. "With me, she can be herself," he sighs, but then his lips form a blissful smile. "I make her feel invincible. Yet with me, she doesn't have to be," the confidence oozes from him.
"Exactly," Bucky nods. "She's unique. She doesn't need you. She doesn't need any of us in a traditional way," he says all in one breath.
"But..." Thor interrupts him.
"Yes, she'd choose all three of us all over again," Bucky assures him.
Thor tears up. "For so long, I was okay with being just her best friend," he sighs.
Bucky taps him on the back. "Trust me, it was only a matter of time," he smiles. "You're Thunder to her Lightning," he says encouragingly.
"Stop it!" Thor chuckles nervously.
"Hey! I mean it, Thor!" Bucky insists. "You've got nothing to worry about. She wants you!" he assures him and smiles.
Hesitantly, Thor nods. "She always finds a way to get what she wants."
"If my word isn't enough, try to feel her," Bucky reminds him.
Thor swallows hard. "I know," he sighs.
"Once in her heart," Bucky starts a thought, but Thor continues it. "Forever a part of her soul," he smiles back.
Bucky gives him a bear hug. "That's right, big boy," he chuckles.
Thor tightens the hug. "I knew it from day one that she's right about you," he sighs with gratitude.
*****When we break apart, Loki drops to one knee in front of me.
My sweetspot contracts in the most exciting way.
What is he up to?
First, he looks up at me with his big green magical eyes, then softly kisses my belly.
I smile and stroke the top of his head.
"Today, we're going to unleash mommy's full powers. Today we're going to break the chains that restrain her best parts," he whispers against my skin.
I raise your eyebrows, my eyes widen.
I beg your pardon?!
Loki's gaze freezes on mine.
"Today, we're setting free her deepest desires," he smirks, then leans his forehead against my belly again. "So hold on tight, little ones," he whispers.
"You're going to do what?" I squeak.
A mischievous smile spreads across his face. "I won't keep you in the dark any longer. Because honestly, I've been looking forward to this for a very, very long time," he whispers, almost as if ashamed of his own feelings. Discreetly, he points in the direction of the bench.
