We arrived at Temple tube station and walked inside. There were only two other people on the platform, waiting for the train to arrive, prepared to go home. I looked around, trying to find anything out of the ordinary. I looked towards my companion. "Anything?"
She shook her head. "Not one thing."
My eyes scanned everything, trying to pick up every little detail. I saw that part of the station's wall was cracked and walked over to it. Stooping down, I picked up the fine grains of the wall and examined them. Could it be behind there? No. That was absurd. It was just some minor damage. Suddenly, I heard a cry for help and snapped my head towards the sound. Responding to the threat, I drew my gun out and aimed. I saw a man dressed in a dark coat, trying to snatch a woman's purse. Without hesitation, I aimed at the assailant and pulled the trigger. The shot rang out, echoing through the tube tunnels and the dart stuck itself into the side of the man's throat. A large amount of blood squirted itself onto the station's wall and the corpse fell to the ground before the chemical could take effect. I reloaded my gun and put it away as the woman looked at me in fear. Without saying anything, she ran past me and my companion, fleeing from the station. "You're welcome!" I called after her. Turning to Jennix, I saw her looking at me, her face a display of anger. "What?"
"You're insane!" She said to me, finding her voice.
"You've only just realised that?" I asked her bluntly.
"I cannot take this anymore! Stop killing people! Give them a trial!"
"I did try to warn you, after all."
She shook her head and waved her hands, almost like she was shooing me away. "I'm getting out of here. Do whatever you want."
I shrugged. "Fine."
"Fine." Without saying anything else, she turned and walked off, leaving me. Not caring about her, I looked at her as she left my sights. A couple of seconds later, I turned and also walked off, in search of the formula myself.
I sat at a bench, trying to piece the clues together, trying to bring myself closer to my goal. I remembered the scientist's last words. Near Temple tube station, hidden in the Roya. What the hell was a roya? It did not make any sense. I stood up and made my way over to a public map. Scanning my eyes through the numerous locations, I got my answer. He wasn't saying roya, he was saying royal, but did not have time to finish. The Royal Courts Of Justice.
