Me and my companion walked around the city, still trying to rack our brains around how we could use the cure to save London. "Maybe your idea doesn't seem so crazy after all." I finally admitted.

"Really?"

"Yes. I am starting to think that it may actually work."

"Why the sudden change of mind?"

"I was thinking to myself what might actually happen if we dispersed the cure in the way that you said. We go to The Great Tower, we wait for it to rain, and then we just have to pour the cure down onto the city. The wind will disperse it and it will be mixed in with the raindrops which will be mixed in with the chemicals. It is almost too perfect."

"But then we will have to wait three years."

"It is the best hope that we have."

Suddenly, we heard a shout.

"There they are!"

Turning our heads towards the sound, we saw a large group of people dressed in sharp, black suits. I caught a glimpse of a large golden ring on each of their index fingers, signs of authority and power.

"Should we run?" Jennix asked.

"Most definitely." I answered. Without stopping for a chat, we began to flee from our enemies.

"Do you know who these people are?"

"I have only heard of them." I said as she ran alongside me. "They call themselves The Council Of Gold. They are psychopaths and politicians, metaphorically speaking. All they live for is money and power and will stop at nothing to get it. In here."

We turned a corner and entered a large tower block. We ran through it as The Council Of Gold also ran in after us. Having no other choice, we hid in the shadows as best as we could. I did not know anything about them. I did not know what types of people they were on a battlefield. Which made them all the more dangerous. I looked around. Winding staircases and corridors branched out everywhere, making the building look like a maze. There was an open door with a bridge leading to somewhere else. Before I realised where we were, it was too late.

"Seal every exit!" One of the psychopaths shouted. We continued further on into the building, creeping about in the silent corridors. Within seconds, we were away from danger, but still trapped inside the outpost. We drew our swords out, ready to engage in combat should we need to. Jennix went to open her mouth to say something but was stopped as we saw that a group of The Council Of Gold had already caught up to us. We fought them and with swift strikes, we cut each and every one of them down.

"So now what?" She asked when the fight was over. I reached into my coat and took out the device, pressed the single button. I put it back into my coat.

"And now, we try to survive for the next couple of minutes."

Fifteen minutes went by and suddenly, we heard a large explosion. There was gunfire and panicked shouting. The Black Mark had made it inside. Now we just had to survive until we had made it outside. The fight quickly escalated into carnage, bodies dropping all over the place. The agents swiftly entered through the newly made hole in the wall and poured inside, quickly splitting up into different directions. They walked through the corridors, taking out anyone within their range, showing not an ounce of mercy. A group of agents pressed their shoulders to a wall and a couple of seconds later, the second soldier in the line tapped the shoulder of the soldier in front of him. He kicked a door open and they all poured into the room, taking out their enemies, quickly clearing the space. We made our way through the organisation, dealing with The Council Of Gold with swift strikes. The organisation was soon quickly becoming littered with corpses. We suddenly saw a large platoon of members of The Council Of Gold, firing at their enemies, quickly taking care of them, gaining back the ground that they had lost. We were severely outnumbered and now our only option was to hide. And so we did. Opening a door, we made our way into a room and I silently closed it, trying not to bring any attention to ourselves. I paced up and down, trying to come up with a solution. Of course, I could let them all kill each other off, but I was in debt to The Black Mark. I could not just let them all be slaughtered like that.

"I have something to confess." Jennix suddenly said. I stopped pacing and turned to her.

"Well then, maybe now would be a good time."

"I think I'm in love with you. But, I love you for your personality, because, I have no idea what you look like behind that mask."

I stopped myself before I said anything stupid and then changed my answer. "And I think that I am in love with you as well. I don't care about your scar. In fact, it makes you look quite intimidating. After all, intimidation helps in war."

She smiled and chuckled. "I'm glad that you think it that way."

Suddenly, the door was kicked open and a platoon of The Council Of Gold looked at us, aiming their guns straight for us.
