Chapter 5: Choi Han

The next day Kim woke up but noticed something different as he went to rub his head. He couldn't help but notice there was a distinct increase in weight to his hair. As he was finally awake enough to be aware of his surroundings, he noticed that his hair had grown to reach about his waist. What the hell happened last night?

"Young Master Kim it's good to see that you're awake, My my how particular I have never seen this before? It appears you've gotten more handsome, actually for you beautiful seems more appropriate, overnight as well as your hair has grown quite a bit. It's the same case for a Young Master Cale as well in his case, his hair has not grown, only his appearance become more defined and noble. Meanwhile, you Young Master Kim seem to have grown more cereal would be the best description to summarize your change." Kim looked at Ron as though he was asking what bullshit he was spouting this early.

Ron only smiled and proceeded with his duties as a butler while calling the servants to help Kim change. He couldn't help but notice that the servants were spacing out while looking at him a lot more than usual. Though Kim chose to ignore it, "Nope don't want to think about it don't wanna deal with it." Once they finished, Kim finally had time to look himself properly in the mirror. To his dismay, he couldn't help but agree with Ron his reddish-brown eyes seemed to have gotten a bit redder, almost as if they glowed with a red tint his hair appeared softer, shier, and silkier, as though his hair came straight out of the shampoo magazine. With his normal indifferent gaze that made him seem cold, Kim couldn't help but think his appearance matched what he would believe, his highest spirit would look like if taken Kaporal form. "How the hell did this happen to me? Did it have something to do with the conversation I had with Kale last night?" As he let his thoughts wander he heard a knock at his door.

" Kim, it's me, Cale." Kim knotted towards Ron to open the door for him. As soon as Cale entered the room, he paused for a moment, staring at him. "Oh shit you too!? Leave us, I'd like to speak with my hyung privately." All the servants bowed and headed out of the room, including Ron. Kim looked at Cale the way Ron described him this morning seemed pretty accurate, Cale looked a lot more handsome. One could mistake him for being royalty well since they've both discovered that their demigod may be royalty would be too low of a bar. " I think our bodies are beginning to shift to prepare for our first growth phase. I think the conversation we had last night might have eased some conflict within ourselves, which allowed for our divine energy to stabilize last night. Before I fell asleep I noticed my necklace glowing before I felt drowsy quickly, and fell asleep much faster than I usually would. I think the same thing happened to you."

"Hmmm, seems like a logical conclusion to follow upon. I just hope that our growth phase won't happen during a very impractical time. Honestly, I'd prefer ignoring this for now since we're meeting Choi Han today."

"Shit please don't remind me. Honestly, no matter how many years have passed since the day I got beat up by him. My mind refuses to forget that day." Kim smirked.

" Come on, he should be arriving at the entrance gate soon. We better go to Billos' café before he arrives."

" Sure might as well make sure that the timeline is correct." Kim just nodded.

The twins started to the dining room where their family was waiting for them. Cale couldn't help but giggle, seeing how many servants were getting distracted by their appearance, while Kim was just choosing to ignore it. " I'm not sure if he's clueless or he just chooses to ignore this, it's quite funny." Looking at Kim's choice of wardrobe seems to always pick the simplest attire, despite the simplest attire still being quite ostentatious, considering it's a noble's wardrobe. Cale on the other hand, definitely has toned down since giving up on his trash persona but seems to enjoy dressing up a bit more having more brooches and accessories, but nothing too in your face. Honestly, Cale couldn't help but think how good Kim would look with earrings. Maybe he could convince him to wear some, probably offering it as a gift would work. Cale only smiled.
