This promises to be a great chapter. We'll be going back and forth from new story to original story now so please leave comments on how I'm doing. Right now I'm looking for work for the summer so I've had time to get ahead on my chapters, that is if I could type faster... Anyway, I'm still ahead by at least a chapter so I'll be able to post next week on Saturday as usual. Hope you enjoy the chapter.

Kim smiled gently.

"Well, we were fortunate enough to have encountered a priestess of the God of Death. Who happened to be very, very close with the god. Thanks to her we were able to get into contact with him, he let us know that we would experience something similar to a dragon's growth phases. In a few hours from now hopefully after the meeting with the Crown prince. We'll be going through our first growth phase."

"Weak demi-human, will you get stronger after your growth phase? How long will it last?"

"We aren't sure, but most likely 4 to 5 days by our guess. Demi-gods are very rarely born. So a lot of stuff is based purely on educated guesses."

"It's shocking First meeting a dragon, now learning that you both are demigods. Never in my life would I have thought I'd ever be able to meet such unique existences."

Lock nodded thoroughly having seemed to finally catch up with the conversation.

"Anyways, it's best if you all leave now I need to get into contact with our father. Most likely the Crown Prince will be paying us a visit. Ron, you may stay or go help Hans if you'd prefer."

"I'll stay by the Young Masters side for now till after your conversation with your father. I'll leave the room so you may have your conversation with the crown prince in private."

Kim sighed, still anxious by the presence of this scary old man. Of course, this was not at all apparent based on his expression that remained stoic as usual.

And the time to have their first discussion about their reward soon arrived.

"You can head out now."

"Yes, Your Highness."

Crown Prince Alberu sent out the priest, who just sat there filling the time without doing any actual treatment on the twins before turning to make eye contact with the twins. Fortunately, they were able to contact their father before the arrival of the priest. Kim had an expression of awe that the crown prince came to visit until the door closed and Alberu started to speak.

"That expression of yours is giving me the chills."

"Thank you very much."

Kim returned to his usual relaxed expression. While Cale was still smiling slightly from the first interaction as soon as Alberu entered. Alberu seemed to find that more bearable as he sat on a chair next to the bed the twins were lying on the bed looking like patients.

Both decided to keep quiet about the fact they were in the same bed as it was easier for them to hide their presence if they were together when they were going through their first growth phase.

Alberu started to smile before adding on.

"I have said that you are currently resting. I said that you got up at the plaza, even though it was difficult so that you could help calm things down like a proper noble."

"Mm."

Kim pretended to contemplate as he responded back.

"Young Noble, who is weak, but stepped forward for the kingdom. It's nice."

"Indeed."

Preferred it this way that people thought he was 'not very strong.' it wasn't a lie, he really was weak.
