I woke up and turned over to a empty side I sighed at the fact that he was gone I looked next to me and seen a tray of food, orange juice and a letter I awwed at the fact that he got me breakfast I opened the letter...
"Goodmorning beautiful sorry I wasn't able to eat with you job calls but I hope you have a great day ill see you later on at 7 love you always -Jason "
After reading it I ate then got up showered and stuff I decided to wear something real nice I put on my black dress that was long at the bottom and short at the top I went downstairs and made Jason's favorite fish and shrimp. I put it in the oven to stay warm then put my heals on and quickly curled my hair grabbed my purse then headed out to Jason's mom house. When I got there I seen Jason's 15 year old brother playing ball in the driveway with friends they stopped and stared at me I shook my head
"Wassup nisha!" He said
"Hey Dj" I replied
"Damn! I mean hi!" Said one of the boys.
"Hey guys! Dj Is your mom here?" I asked.
"No but I'm always here" another boy said.
"Shut up Marc! Yea she here." Dj said
I walked in the house and seen mrs.Robins aka mom is what I call her in the kitchen.
"Nisha that's you?" She asked
"Yea" I said
I walked up to her and she turned around and gave me the biggest hug.
"Hey baby you look beautiful" she said.
"Thanks mom." I said.
"What you doing here shouldn't you be preparing for that special dinner tonight?" She asked.
"Yea but I came to see how everything was doing over here." I said
"Well it's going pretty good. I am almost done with the food. Oh and Dj wants to bring his friends" she said
"That's fine." I said.
"So who's all coming to this dinner?" She asked.
"Not that many people just close family and friends you know. like you,Dj, my dad, Jason's 3 cousins James, Devon and Cj, His boss and a couple of co workers my friend Versa and Bestfriend karina. That's pretty much it" I said.
"Oh ok well what time do you want me there?" She asked.
"Anytime before 7 here's a key to the front door just do your thing mom" I said laughing.
"Of course" she said laughing.
"Alright mom I gotta go taking Jason lunch today." I said
"Oh so that's why you all dolled up" she said
"Something like that, gotta go though ma" I said walking out.
"Alright love you!" She said
"Love you to!" I said.
I got back in my car and headed home to pick up his food and then headed to his office I walked to the front desk..
"Hey Amber!" I said
"Oh hi mrs.Robins go ahead he's in his office. " she said.
"Thank you" I said
"Welcome you look beautiful by the way." She said
"Thank you" I said with a smile.
I got on the elevator and went to his office I knocked twice no answer, I knocked another two times then heared him...
"Come in!" He said
I walked in and he looked surprised but there was a women sitting in front of him I walked closer and the women turned around...
"Karina!" I said
"Hey" she said
Jason stood up then came and gave me a kiss...
"Hey baby what you doing here?" He asked
"Karina what you doing here?" I asked.
"Oh uhh she here because uhh her baby's father tried to rape her!" He said.
"What!? Karina why didn't you tell me?" I asked
"Because It happened last night. Girl my bad." She said
"Aww I'm sorry to hear that love. He needs to be in jail! Good thing you came to Jason." I said
"Yea he's really helpful" she said
"Well we are done here thanks karina ill see you again tomorrow?" Jason spoke up and said
"Mmmmm. Ill see you later girl, bye jason and thanks" she said
She walked out and it was just me and Jason...
"So why are you here?" He asked
"To bring you lunch." I said smiling
"Oh just leave it on my table." He said
"Wait pause! No thank you? No love no nothing? What's wrong now?" I asked
"Nothing I got work to do you can leave the food and go back home. Thanks" he said bluntly
"Wow whatever bye Jason" I said
I grabbed my purse and left the food then walked out I went home to see mom Dj and his friends there as time passed on people begin to show up, everything was in place only person was missing was Jason, it begin to get late and still no Jason when it hit 11:00 o'clock I gave up. People begin to leave I was beyond hurt but refused to show it. Last people to leave was Mom...
"I'm sorry things didn't work out how you wanted it to. I'm sure he just got caught up in his work." She said
"Yea" I said
"Well let me get home, try not to let this bring you down god is always on your side baby." She said
"Thanks mom." I said
"Night baby." She said
"Night" I said
After she left the tears begin to flow I changed into my shorts and tank, opened up a bottle of ciroc and just begin drinking. what did I do so wrong? Why didn't he show up? Work of course! He complains about me and my job and I took 2 days off just to make sure he was happy! Oh god! Everybody came except 3 my dad I wasn't surprised he is known for braking promises, karina she is probably with Eva I understand that but Jason not coming is just bullshit! As i kept drinking I was now half way done when I heared the front door close.
"What is all this" I heard Jason say.
I walked in and he just looked at me..
"Well suprise!" I said.
"What?" He said
"It's your fucking suprise dinner party! You would have known that if you had showed up!" I said
"Ba-" he started
"No! Shut up! You have treated me like shit today! I took you lunch trying to look all sexy! I had your mom brother cousins and co workers here! And you didn't even show up! I'm tired of this shit Jason! What am I doing so wrong? Do you know how embarrassing that was to have people sit here and wait for you and you never show up! Talking about kids! Are you going to be late to the birth or or the talent shows,spelling bees sports! I am fucking tired of all this bullshit! One minute you love me next your pushing me away!? Which is it? God" I said yelling and crying.
"Babe I'm s-" he started
"Don't you dare give me that bullshit ass sorry! Until you really mean it save it!" I said
He tried grabbing me but I snatched away.
"Don't! Don't touch me!" I yelled
I walked up the stairs and went into the guest room slamming it and locking it.
