Umiwas na lamang ako ng tingin sa batang lalaki nasa harapan. Sa iba ko na lamang itunoon atensyon ko nang mapansin na mukhang nagagalit na ang kakambal ko. Lumulubo na kasi ang kanyang matabang pisnge na may kasamang pamumula.

He is mad.

And it's really cute. I want to pinch his chubby cheeks.  I want to tease him but I am afraid to make him cry.

"I am going introduce myself again. My name is Arthur Silverstone and I will be your instructor," he started.

Everyone gasped and clapped their hand upon hearing his surname. It seem like our ancestors is famous here.

Everyone went silent when his jolly face become serious.

"I know some of you might doubt my capability since I am still a kid.  However my father entrusted Celaria to me which means my ability is validated by the chief commander of this Empire. I hope you wouldn't question my way of training you," mahabang paliwanag niya.

Nakita ko ang pagkamangha ng ilang bata kasama namin. But I saw some instructor that have doubt in their eyes.

"Before we start our training, I'll be asking you some simple question. What do you think is the purpose of your training?" He asked.

"For us to learn how to use swords or any weapon that we could use to kill monster!"

"To defend our Empire!"

"To protect our family!"

"Lahat ng mga sinabi niyo ay tama. And the most important things to do before you were able to use swords, spears or any equipment you that want is that you need to start first in building your body," he said with a smile.

"With that, run a laps in the training ground. . . ," aniya na kinahinga ng mga batang kasama ko.

Someone raise their hands at the back.

"That's too simple, Sir! Kailan kami gagamit ng espada?"

"Who said that you will just run in the training ground? Will you let me finish first?" aniya na kinatahimik ng lahat.

Kinilabutan ako ng bigla na lamang siya ngumisi sa amin. The innocent kid is gone. All I can see in him is devil whose wearing an innocent face of a child.

He flick his finger, "Gentlemen!"

Kasunod non ay pagsulputan ng mga kawal. May dala dala silang kahon may laman ng punyal.

Nagulat ako ng bigyan nila kami isa isa ng punyal. Nangunot ang aking noo habang nakatitig sa hawak kong punyal.

What the hell is this!?

My eyes landed on him. His lips lift up as he flick finger again that send shiver at me back.

My instinct telling me that this kid is planning something evil. I am not worried about myself but I am worried to my brother.

After flickering his finger, I heard a loud noise from a dog.

Then, I saw some knights holding a chain that is tie on the neck of the dog that have three heads!

"So, here's the twist my cadets, you will run in the field while being chased by these monsters called Cerberus. Isn't exciting?"

"Oh don't worry. I am still kind that's why I give you dagger to protect yourself in case," ngisi pa niya.

"Any questions?"

"How many hours are we going to run?" kinakabahan tanong ng isa sa mga kasama namin.

"When the monster stop chasing you. And be careful, that monster has rabies, you might die. Be thankful because I use newly born cerberus and not a the big one. The newly born cerberus will just bite and you'll have some rabies while the adult cerberus will eat you like a meat" he said playfully that made everyone shudder in fear.

A rabies huh! Eh nakakamatay pa rin yun! Is he being sarcastic. Being thankful?

Is he insane!?

"He is an insane jerk!" I heard familiar voice said that.

Napatingin ako sa kapatid ko. He is angrily staring at the devil.

Napatingin siya sa akin nang mapansin nya na nakatingin ako sa kanya. Then, his angry face suddenly become so innocent.

"Something wrong, Luci?" inosente niyang tanong.

I shook my head. I smile at him. My innocent brother wouldn't say those words. Baka imahenasyon ko lamang iyon.

"Nothing. Be careful," sagot ko lamang.

"Free them knights. You can run now, Cadets! Enjoy!" masaya sabi sa amin ng baliw na instructor.

And thus, we run as fast as can. Dahil sa biglang takbuhan ay nahiwalay ako sa kapatid ko. I heard some kids crying while being chased. I could heard also the loud growl of the cerberus.

Napansin ko na kada isa sa amin ay may nakatukang Cerberus kaya walang kawala sa halimaw na humahabol sa amin.

Lumipas ang limang oras ay nakikipaghabulan kami sa mga cerberus. At parang hindi ko na kayang tumakbo. I saw my brother too being chased.

Napasulyap ako sa kinaroroonan Arthur. He is just watching us while drinking. Napatingin naman ako sa likuran ko habang tumatakbo. Mukhang hindi naman napapagod tong hayop na toh!?

I saw some kids has been bitten. Agad silang kinuha ng knight. Mukhang dadalhin nila sa pagamutan.

Sumulyap ulit ako sa cerberus. It has sharp teeth! Triple na rabis na matatanggap ko sakali na makagat ako dahil tatlong ulo nito!

I can't believe it that kind of monster really exist. I though I could only read it in mythology. But right now, the minster I've been reading during high school is chasing me!

Napatigil ako sa pagtakbo habang hinahabol ang aking hininga. Hinarap ko ang cerberus na tumatakbo papunta sa akin.

Mahigpit ko na hinawakan ang punyal na hawak ko. Kailangan kong napatigil tumakbo ang cerberus na humahabol sa akin para matapos na ito.

Wala naman sinabi si Arthur na bawal patayin ang cerberus. The only way to stop that monster from chasing us is by killing it. Maybe that's the purpose of this dagger.

As the cerberus, jump towards me, I immediately avoid it. And return the attack using my dagger. I was able to wound the minster that made it groan in pain.

I gritted my teeth as I feel frustrated. It's hard to attack the cerberus due to it's three heads. Kaunting pagkakamali ko lamang ay makakagat ako.

Naiinis kong tinalikuran ang cerberus na humahabol sa akin at nagsimula na ulit tumakbo. I need to find timing to kill that monster.

While running, I saw Russel trying fight the Cerberus too. I almost forgot that he is here too. Katulad ko ay mukhang nahihirapan na rin siya. Hindi ko maiwasan na mapangisi ng makita ko ang kanyang lagay. Ang dating palaging malinis niyang katawan ay punong puno na ngayon ng galos at dumi. Mukhang inis na inis rin siya.

Nang malapit na ako sa kanya ay tinawag ko siya.

"Hey stupid brat!"

Tumingin siya sa direksyon. Gulat siyang napatingin sa direksyon ko. He was about to avoid me but it was too late for that. Agad akong tumakbo sa direksyon niya. Then, I used his body as ladder then jump in the mid air.

While in the mid air I saw the cerberus try to jump towards me but it was too late. I hold my dagger tightly as landed at the back of the Cerberus and successfully thrust the dagger to its body. The cerberus try to fought back with me but I push the dagger more until it buried to it's heart.

And thus the cerberus die in my hand.
