I would follow him into Hell just to look in his eyes
Breathing in waves of dreams undreamt
And I would let the flames burn me whole
Because it is nothing compared to what I have found withinAnd all of the forsaken stars, all of the beckoning cries
Of angels that I should turn away,
All that I have ever been and every will be
Stops here, at your doorstep, at your exhaleAnd here I am, on bloodied knees,
On high and so very weak, all for you, my love,
All for a moment that is not yet born, all for minutes not yet ticked,
All for days that may well never comeFor now, Time grins at the secret,
For now, I am still, and smiling back
With crimson teeth and split lips
Because I too have secrets that God Himself will not touch
