Chapter 6

Right now we are own our way to Shravani's house . I'm so excited to meet her . Vaanar Sena is chatting and bickering throughout the journey, I don't know why dadi sa allowed them to accompany us and cherry to top my friends are also coming. I just hope Jaan doesn't get overwhelmed or scared because of all this , they can be handful sometimes.
We reached at her house around 11 am , her father and uncle come to receive us. We were welcomed at her home by her entire family with smile . Her house is not big but enough for them ,it was three store small banglow in decent society. We all were seated in the hall ,which now feel crowed. But the person I was waiting for was nowhere to be seen .
" Namaste ,Aane Mai ko takleef toh nahi Hui na" her Grandfather asked us.
"Namaste, Ji bilkul nahi,koi takleef nahi hui." Dada sa replied to him.
"Ji thik he , waise yeh mera bada beta Prakash....." Saying this he introduced us to everyone and we did the same.
With each passing minute , I was getting impatient to see her . Dadi sa seems to notice it,
"Accha ab aap Shravani beti ko bhi bula lijiye, hume bhi unse mila hai" dadi sa said to her mother .
"Ji bilkul, abhi bulakar lati hu "her mother replied and went to bring her. Chachi sa passed me a teasing smile I just looked away. After that everyone was busy having conversation about i don't know what. I was excited to see her.
Everyone stopped talking when the jingles of anklets were heard. I looked up and froze at the place ,after seeing nervous looking Shravani entering the hall with a small smile on her lips . She was looking ethereal in the Soft pink saree with minimal makeup and ornaments, her smile is her main ornament, which made her look so beautiful. As she enter , she looked at me , and as soon as our eyes came in contact , the time seems to stop for both of us . There was different kind of spark , in our eyes and my heart , but soon she averted her gaze and blushed . Blushed ... My jaan blushed because of me . Haye . Then with a blushing face , she went to elders and touched there feet out of respect. Meri Sanskari Jaan. And said hii to others. When she Ahaan who was sitting biside me , her smile widened. I felt a pang of jealousy , but she has known him for few years now so it's justified. Her mother asked to introduce herself to us .
" Namaste , I'm Shravani Rane , elder daughter of Vijay and Uma Rane. I m student of 3rd year physiotherapy at Sanchati college of physiotherapy, Pune . I love reading books and music though I can't guarantee how much others like my singing but yeah I sing not professional though and listening to music, i love dance I have performed at multiple stage events and love to watch movies and series. I am good at cooking and I love to cook for my people. So yeah , I hope we all know more about each other with time " She introduced herself confidently. I got lost in her . The way she gracefully and confidently introduced herself. I could sense her nervous but she didn't show it on her face .
"Namaste beta hum Gayatri Devi, Rudraveer ki dadi sa ,... " Like this she introduced everyone to her.
"Dadi sa , let us introduce ourselves, I bhabhi i am Annika your one and only favourite Would be nand , and this monkey here is Jaiveer Bhai . We are three siblings, Rudraveer Bhai is eldest, then Jaiveer Bhai and then me." Annika introduced introduced herself cheerfully. Shravani said hii to us . I could sense her awkwardness as Annika called her bhabhi , but that is ok for now ,she will get used to it .
"Bhabhi , myself Sanvi , I m bhai's cousin and these are my elder brothers , both are twins Reyansh and Priyansh, Reyansh Bhai is older by 10 mins though. " Sanvi introduced herself calmly, like always.
"Uhmm , Myself Ahaan Malhotra, Bestfriend of Rudraveer . I think I have seen before but I don't know where? " Ahaan looked at giving her teasing smile and said.
"Oh accha , come on Bhai , how can you forget your cute little sister like this , I'm hurt , " she said giving him fake hurt look.
"Oh how could I forget my golu molu sister huh " Ahaan replied in playful tone . And all my friends laughed.
"Ok guys , we are also here and make us feel left out and tell us , how do you know bhabhi Ahaan Bhai ?" Jaiveer whined . And our attention went to others who were looking equally puzzled.
"Guys , Shravani is Aditya's bestfriend. They study in same college and are from same batch . So that's how I know her". Ahaan explained everyone. And Shravani also smiled . After this everyone introduced themselves to her. After the introduction, all were having conversation and she was also taking part in them . But my sole attention was on her. Like how she talked with other and everything. My urge to make her mine was growing stronger and harder by each passing second.
I was feeling jealous because she was looking and giving her attention to everyone, except me , which not at all fair . I was waiting for time when we will be together, all alone.
Like God heard my wish and dadi sa asked her family,
"Agar aapko thik Lage toh , hum baacho ko akele Mai , baat karne de " .
"Hume koi problem nahi , aap dono terrace par Jaa sakte hai ,Mai upar kissi ke saath nasta bhijva dogi. " her grandmother said with smile. Listening to this I smiled and looked at her getting up , she got up and asked me to follow her. We didn't say anything till we reached there, there was sitting area there , she asked to seat and also seat opposite to me. I was not liking the distance between us,but it can do now. She was looking at her lap , fidgeting with her saree pallu.

I was seating in my room , I was so nervous as they were seating in the hall. Mumma came to take me there.
"Mumma , I'm so nervous, what if I trip on my saree or say something stupid in front of everyone , no no no uhhhh"I whined in front of her. She just smiled and hugged me .
"Kuch nahi hoga , stop overthinking Shrav " she said while hugging me.
"You know logo ko hereditary Mai bahut kuch milta aur mujhe aap hi ki overthinking mili hai." I got smack on my head listening this.
"Chup ho jao , aur chalo niche .woh tumhe bula rahe hai " I gave her tight lip smile to her . As I was going towards hall , my nervousness was increasing. I enter the hall , as lifted my eyes they landed on hazel eyed Greek god , I froze , it was so serene when black night meet the hazel evening.We were in our different trance , there was some kind of spark there, he was looking at me with eyes filled with different kinds of emotions which I can't comprehend but there was feeling like coming home after long tiring day . The intensity of his gaze was too much for me , so averted my eyes . And I went to elders and greeted them.
Mumma asked me to introduce myself, which I did quite good and suprisingly without any stuttering and with a decent confidence. I looked at him , I can see he was looking proudly towards me, ok..ay , this is new. His grandmother introduced everyone followed by youngsters introducing themselves. It was kinda awkward when they were calling me 'BHABHI' , because hey I haven't said yes yet. But I let slide,since they too sweet and excited. The little drama Ahaan Bhai pulled was hilarious. After sometime I felt at ease with everyone which was rare as I always take time to get comfortable around new people and so glad about this. our conversation was full of laughter and happiness,some teasing and leg pulling here and there . They were so nice , they didn't even have that elite ego let alone being royal . All the time I could sense a gaze on me, but didn't had that much courage to look up , because I had idea somewhat who it can be.He was silent entire time,only gave answers to questions my family asked. His family also asked me few questions I replied to them genuinely.
Then they told us to have a talk in private. Ok now I m nervous . But this is only how I will get to know him better and answer all my questions.
