Chapter 5

So today they all are coming to meet us , honestly I am nervous and excited at the same time . I'm excited because I have a huge crush on him and huge inspiration and  meeting him for real is like a dream ,Varna itne jaldi Mai nahi manti hihi . And nervous because well , we should not believe what they say on tabloids . What if he will be some brat or with a huge ego or he says no to this on my face .na baba na .Though he seems like a nice guy , cultural and someone who respects family. Varna aajkal itne acche ladke aur khoobsurat dikhne Wale ladke arrange marriage ke liye ready nahi hote . What if he is forced into this ?
Stop overthinking Shrav. Arey what overthinking, agar unhe bhi Wattpad ke male lead jaise force Kiya hoga toh .
'Aur tu toh ekdam female lead jaisi innocent hai huhh' my subconscious mocked me.
But I will ask him about it for sure , mai woh sab nahi seh sakti ho baki ke female lead sehti hai.

Oh God mujhe yeh dialogue kab se use karna tha.
Ok don't get me wrong , I don't know if I love him , it's just crush . But I always heard about him through adi , my bestfriend. He talk very highly about Rudraveer . They both share the bond like true brothers.
Well is there any trope like 'bestfriend's brother's bestfriend '? hehehehe .
Well I told about this yesterday, i can't forgot our conversation.

                         'Flashback '
(Yesterday,night )

After having a conversation with my father, my mood was off . Well he indirectly told me to say yes , how can he ? They just can't forget I'm 20 years old. I have my entire career before me. My mumma was the one who always motivated me to become independent and pursue my career . She didn't get to become independent because of her and my family's orthodox mentality. But she always makes sure to let me know the importance of independence, now she is asking me to get married, that before completing my studies, unbelievable.
Because I was upset and I wanted to  know about  Mr Rudraveer Singh Rathore  , I called adi . He received my call in 2 rings only , Haye Mera pyaar aur eklota bestfriend.

S-  Hey adi , wassup?

A- hey babes , nothing much , what about you?And why did your mother call you home urgently?

S - guess what, kisske liye rishta aaya hai?

A- you got to be kidding. Balvivha nahi hojaye  yeh , bol meri balkivadhu. I m in shock rn.

S - arey abhi se shock Mai mat jau , pucho toh ladka kon hai .

A - kon hai ladka ?

S -  aapke pyaare Rudra Bhai.

A- Shrav majak nahi .

S- why would I joke about something this serious adi .
I said in a serious tone now.

A - so,  how and what do you feel about it .

S- idk adi. I'm not  ready for the marriage rn , it's not about getting married to him . It's just yaar , I'm only 20 years old , pursuing her degree , from a middle class family and look at him yaar he is a well settled businessman , coming from a royal background and have you seen him , he looks like a perfect Greek god and here I am a clumsy, introvert plus size girl . You know me and him too . There is no comparison between us yaar . And everyone is kind of pressuring me for this marriage. I don't know ok I don't know. I know you will think that I'm overthinking , we haven't even met yet and he hasn't said yes , but I'm scared you know.

A- ok ok I understand , but please first meet him first then make any judgement and decision about him . Promise me that you will not take any decision in a haste and think thoroughly before saying or doing anything.

S - Yeah , I promise you. Ok tell me something about him . I trust you .

A- Shrav , Bhai is genuinely a nice person. A true gentleman,he shows his cold and strict behaviour to everyone but he cares a lot. He is a man of few words , but when speaks everyone listens and obeys him . He has anger issues but trust me he don't get angry on anything easily but when he does nobody can save you from his wrath . He is calm and composed. Shravani trust me Bhai se jyada accha ladka tujhe dhundke bhi nahi milega . He is a true gem . Agar tum dono ek dusre ko pasand Karo toh don't think twice just say yes . And yes , please be a  little patient  with him, he has his walls created around himself .

S - ok I understand. Chal i will call you later. Good night

A- hmm , think about what I said to you . Baki tu uthni mature hai ki decision acche se le pai. Good night.

S - hmm , Good night.
Saying this I cut the call. I don't know what to say . After talking with adi , i got little sense of clarity . But it also made me little scared . He has anger issues . I have grown up in a family full of people with anger issues , I also had them but eventually when I got to know about how our anger can ruin  relationships , situations and someone's mental health, i start to learn how to control my anger issues. .

Flashback ends

Right now everyone in my  family is  busy with the preparation. After sometime my bua and Pooja come . Pooja is older than me , but I always call her Pooja or other nicknames because she is like bestfriend to me . She come to me and hugged me tightly. Breaking our hug ,i went to my bua touched her legs and hugged her. She looked at me with her smile. "Kitni badi hogi meri gudiya , ab dekhne usse ladkewale aarahe, ab yeh shadi kar ke chali bhi jayegi ." She said looking at me with tears in her eyes .
"Bua yaar, i haven't said yes to marriage yet, so stop crying ." I whined .
"Yeah we will see you after this meeting, then I will ask you"she said teasingly .
After this pooja , took me to my and Isha's room , yeah we share room .
"I will tell you only one thing , think before doing anything. And I'm here with you no matter what , ok baby " ,she said smiling at me. This is the only thing I need right now.
"Ok, and I know you are here " saying this I hugged her.
"Ok let's get you ready , first go and take a shower they will be coming in 1 hour ,ok " she said still in a hug .
I went to my wardrobe, collecting my clothes  I went to take a shower. After showering , i towel dried my hair ,and called Mumma to make me wear the saree .
"Ok Shravu, you remember na what I taught you?, just do as said "Mumma said looking at me .
"Yes mumma, don't worry ." I replied. After making me wear a saree she went outside for preparation and I sat in front of the mirror, Pooji helping me to get ready . I didn't do much of a makeup just applied pink lipstick, kajal and eyeliner with mascara. Though I love makeup , but I really want them to see me without any filter on. I decided to leave my hair open with the middle partition and sprayed my favourite lavender perfume. After getting completely ready I looked at myself in the mirror for the last time . After sometime, Isha came to the room to tell me they are here . Ok , now I m nervous.
