Shravani's Pov~
At first it was decided that Adi will leave for Jaipur after dropping me home, but since Veer is here I had convinced Adi to go with him. It took lots of convincing but these was more feasible.

Veer decided that first they will leave once I'm off to my hometown. I was done with packing and going through last check ups. This apartment holds special place in my heart, I didn't live here but Adi and I used to hang out here often, so I was feeling very emotional. I smiled sadly.

"Bas Shravani, ab emotional hone ki zarurat nahi hai."
I laughed at myself.

After checking everything for the last time, I closed my suitcase.

Adi was standing near the door, looking at me with folded arms.

"Madam, ho gaya emotional drama?"
I glared at him.

"Excuse me, this is an emotional moment. You won't understand because you are not the one who is getting married." I said dramatically like he has personally offended me.

"OH Shut UPP!!! We will be together in Jaipur as well so please stop the drama before bhai sees you like this and consider me reason for all this drama." he scoffed.

Actually good idea! "VEERR, see Adi is teasing me" I hugged Veer shedding fake tears. I looked at Adi from the hug and smirked.

"Jhoothiii! dayan. Bhai she is lying." Adi yelled.

"Adi! Bhabhi hai teri. I dare you to speak with her like this again. And both of you stop all the drama and get ready already." Veer yelled annoyed at us.

After a little more drama, my luggage was loaded in the car which will take me home with a driver and a bodyguard.

I hugged Adi and said, "meet you soon and miss me."

I went to Veer and pulled me in a hug and kissed my forehead, " remember your promise and come to me soon".

I hugged him tightly and said "Yes, Mr Rathore"

I waved them bye and left for home. It's a 6 hrs journey ahead so I quickly called my parents and informed them that I have started my journey and messaged the Rathore family group the same.

I slept through the journey, and when I reached my home my family was standing at the gate welcoming me home. I hugged them, got inside my home. I quickly messaged in Rathore family group and Veer that I have reached safely. I was so tired from the journey that after having my lunch I quickly went to bed after changing into my PJs.

Rudraveer's POV~
The drive back to Jaipur airport to Rathore palace was unusually quiet.
Adi was sitting beside me, scrolling through his phone.
I looked outside the window.
My mind was still stuck on Shravani.

The moment she had left.

The way she hugged me.

I smiled unconsciously.

"Missing her already?" Adi's voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

I glared at him. "Shut up."

He laughed. "Bro, you are gone."

I raised an eyebrow."What?"

"You. Rudraveer Singh Rathore. Hukum of Rajasthan. Mafia leader. CEO." He dramatically counted on his fingers.

"And now..."

He pointed at me.
"Full-time Shravani's husband-in-training."
I gave him a deadpan look.
"Adi."
"Okay, okay. Don't kill me."I shook my head.

But I couldn't stop the small smile from appearing. "She is different."
Adi's expression softened. "I know."

"She makes everything..." I paused, searching for the right word.
"Peaceful."

Adi looked at me for a moment before smiling. "Good."

I looked towards him. "Good?"

"Yeah. You deserve that."
I didn't reply.

I simply looked outside again.
For the first time in years, the idea of coming home didn't feel like returning to responsibilities.
It felt like waiting for someone.

My Lotus.

By the time we reached the palace, evening had already settled over Rajasthan.

The moment we entered, Jaiveer appeared.
"Bhai!"
I looked at him.
"Where is everyone?"
"Already in the lounge."
Adi laughed.
"Of course."
We walked inside.
The entire younger generation had gathered together.
Annika was sitting on the sofa with Sanvi.
Reyansh and Priyansh were arguing over something completely pointless.
Ahaan was scrolling through his phone.
Kiara was sitting beside him.
Aryan was eating something from the table.
The moment Adi entered, Jaiveer shouted,
"ADI!"
Adi immediately stopped.
"No."
Jaiveer grinned.
"Come here."
"No."
"Come."
"Why?"
"Because I missed you."
Adi narrowed his eyes.
"That's suspicious."
Everyone laughed.
I shook my head.
These people were impossible.
Annika suddenly looked at me.
"Bhai sa, Bhabhi maa ko ghar pahucha diya?"
I nodded.
"Yes."
"She reached safely?"
"Yes."
Sanvi smiled.
"She must be missing you."
I looked at my phone.

Reyansh immediately gasped.
"Already?"
I glared at him.
"What?"
"Nothing, Hukum sa."
The room erupted into laughter.
I sighed.
Apparently, this was going to be a long evening.
But for once...
I didn't mind.
Because somewhere six hours away, my Lotus was home.
And soon...
She would be coming back to me.
