I wake up and take my phone off my side table. I go onto messages and look at messages from Momo.

                                      Momo! 🩷

Momo: WAKE UP

Momo: IM COMING OVER AT 10!

You: what whyyyy. I'm tired

Momo: I'm already in the car

You: I hate you

Momo: love you too hon

What is she doing? I better get ready so I don't look like a mess when she gets here. I open my curtains to let the sun in and walk over to my vanity. I brush out the knots in my hair and curl my lashes. Good enough for now. I pick out a comfy outfit, a pair of denim shorts and an oversized top. My mum calls me down. "Morning honey, how did you sleep?" "Pretty good, what's for breakfast?" I ask. " is bacon and toast okay?" I nod and sit down. "Oh and Momona will be here in 20 minutes." I tell her. "That's fine, just tell me if you leave the house" she smiles. "Okay, I'm off to work now." She says.

🎬 time skip to 20 minutes later🎬

I hear a knock on the door, when I open it Momona stands there smiling. "Hey!" She says and invites herself in. "What are you planning. You scare me" I say. "You're auditioning silly!" She says. "Momo noooo" I plead. "Hey, I at least have to try to convince you to ok?"she convinces me. We go up to my room and lay on my unmade bed. "Ok so, have you got a role in mind?" She asks. "I love annabeth but I don't know if I'm like her" she pulls her phone out from her pocket and searches 'which pjo character am I quiz' on google. Oh god. "Here" she says handing me the phone. I answer all the questions easily. I've probably done this quiz in primary school. "Ok..here's the results!" I say as she leans over my shoulder. Annabeth appears on the screen and I was 100% annabeth. "Well, now we have that out of the way you gotta audition for her!" She squeals. "Listen Momo, I'm still not sure" I say " y/n, I know you. You will do amazing." She reassures me. "Anyways I came early because I have a photoshoot today." I give her her phone back "I have to go now! Think about it ok?" She says and leaves the house. Should I? It might be fun. I could always just audition and if I don't get the job then I can just pretend it never happened.

I take a long white blanket from my cupboard and hang it on my wall as a background. I then make myself more presentable by putting some light makeup on and changing into some other clothes. This is what people do for auditions right?? Whatever, I got this. I picked a line from the book and begin practicing it in a mirror. I finally feel confident enough to film it so I fix my hair up and place my camera on my mums old tripod. "Hi I'm y/n y/l/n and I'm auditioning for the role of annabeth chase." I say to the camera. I read my lines and act as good as I can. "Thank you for considering me, I've been a fan of the books for many years so this would be a dream." I stop recording and look at the footage. Not bad. Submit my audition and start worrying as soon as I do. I should just tell Momona.

You: I auditioned..

Momo: YES Y/N! I KNEW YOU COULD DO THIS!

You: 👍🏼

I know this was a short chapter but I'm not a fan of it and might rewrite it later. I need at least 7 chapters out by the end of the week so I had to do it now. Hope you liked it! Also the percabeth in episode 5 had me on the floor crying 😭
