C/W: Violence and language.

The train stopped at Hogwarts Station, even before I could react Draco stood up, glared, grabbed his stuff, and quickly left the train.

"The hell is your problem?!" I whisper to myself in the empty cabin. There was no way he didn't like me right? The signs were there.. Maybe my judgment was wrong?

I couldn't help but just stare at the window and watch him leave to the castle with the crowd. Tears begin to well up in my eyes as a pain in my chest grows. I'm not too sure how long I kept my head in my hands but it was enough for someone to come knocking at the door. My face red and my hair messy I look up to see who stood there.. I honestly expected the conductor or staff but it was Hermione?

'What would she want from me?' I think.

"Y/n, I don't know what happened between you two and I don't really care. But the train is about to leave so you need to come with me and get off the train." She said in a stern tone.

"Right.. sorry." I grabbed my luggage and followed her outside. We were the only ones out there. The air stung my skin as I felt a knot in my throat with anger and sadness. It must have been obvious because she started to look concerned.

"I know I said I didn't care but I can't help but ask what happened when you look like.. that." She said blankly.

Looking down at her I saw that she almost had a worried look on her face.

"I..I can't tell you. You can't know." I said as I broke down into tears.

"I know you will say no but would you like to hangout with Ron and I? The gryffindors always have hot cocoa the night we come back from break." Awkwardly she gave me a side hug when she said that.

"Honestly... that... would be nice... but I need to drop my stuff off first" I said as I had an awkward hug back.

"Alright, I will wait outside the common room door, but if you aren't there by midnight I'm not letting you in." She said with a smile now.

Taking a deep breath I walked through the castle down to the basement. Feeling angry and hurt at what seemed like rejection. Feeling this pain in my chest and face. When I made it to the door I nearly shouted the password and stormed into the common room. With heavy feet and a quick pace I know I knocked a vase or something over and bumped into a random 1st year. People were watching...judging but I didn't care. I'm normally calm and soft spoken but I'm tired as shit.

I made it to my room and slammed the door open. The two other slytherins, Blaise, and Draco were in the room talking. Of course Draco talked to them like he was high and mighty and as if nothing was wrong. I slammed my trunk beside my bed and threw my robe on the floor next to it. I kicked off my shoes and sat on my bed pulling out a random outfit that was warm along with my old bloodied converse. I walked to the shared bathroom in the room and slammed the door while beginning to get dressed in my shorts and green sweater. Partially listening through the door I can hear the boys talking about how my attitude was new and weird and they didn't like it. But then I heard Draco.

"I couldn't possibly know what stick was shoved up his ass. Not like any of us care anyway. He said laughing.

With my sweater halfway down my torso I slammed open the door and headed for my shoes. When passing Draco I just glared, his expression changed to nervousness. When I finished tying my shoes I stomped to the door and before I pushed it open I said without turning around.

"Next time if you're going to say anything you should say it quieter asshole."

I pushed open the door and stomped back through the common room. Crabbe and Goyle were near the door along with Pansy.

"Move." I said before I got to them.

As I walked closer they stayed glaring but Pansy was surprisingly smart enough to move to the side.

"I fucking said move!!" As I was right in front of them I decked Crabbe in the face.

My fist landed straight to his jaw and knocked him on his side. Rubbing my knuckles I knew I was going to have a bruise, probably not as bad as he will though.

"Pure-blood" I said as the door opened. I turned around and saw the whole common room staring, even Draco in the far back standing with wide eyes in our room's doorway.

I hustled out of the hall and up the stairs to the rest of the castle. A smile crept onto my face, punching him felt good as hell. My pace quickened to a run as I climbed up the thousands of stairs to the Gryffindor tower. The pain in my chest was gone but my hands shook in what felt like excitement. And finally I made it to the door where Hermione stood.

"You actually came..and you're smiling." She said almost shocked.

"I just punched Crabbe in the face. I am ecstatic!" I said happily.

Without question she let me in and dozens of Gryffindor eyes watched me like hawks. Potter was there as well and he looked confused. Fred, George, and Ron stared dead at me.

"Stop bloody staring at him, he just punched Crabbe in the face. Get him some damn cocoa!" She said sternly and then gave me a warm smile.

The twins ushered me to one of their couches and poked and prodded about what had happened. They wanted every juicy detail. Before I knew it Harry Potter gave me a cup of cocoa.

"I'm sorry for calling you a homo.. truce for now?" He said, looking away.

"Truce" I said smiling and taking the cup from him.

Oddly enough they all were very welcoming of me. It was actually nice... and before I even knew it, it was already almost 3 in the morning. When I was ready to leave they all gave me hugs and invited me to come back another time, they even gave me the password to their common room. Apparently it was now "hopscotch" after a 1st year couldn't pronounce the old password.

I still didn't trust most of them but it was nice to get fresh air before facing Draco again. Walking back to the common room was easy and light of course up until I was standing in front of the door. Everything came crashing down on my shoulders as I stared at it.

"Pure-blood" I said.

The common room was empty and cold, like almost always. Slowly walking I saw a small table and a vase knocked over and cracked... that was my bad. I put it back up and used my wand to fix the vase. As I walked further into the common room I saw Draco on one of the couches almost fully in the dark.

"Where did you go?" He asked coldly.

"That's none of your business. Apparently I was told not to tell a soul." I gave him a mean smile.

"Bloody asshole!" He snapped.

"Try me, I'll just get worse. I promise" I glared as I walked to the room.

When I got to my bed I saw that all my stuff was organized neatly. Odd. I crawled into my bed and went to bed. I was too exhausted to feel anything except for how heavy my eyelids were.

As I felt myself begin to drift the door opened and closed. I heard Draco just sit on his bed. And that's all he did till I fell asleep.
