The Move

I sighed as we drove to our new house. Danny was sitting shot gun and kept beating out with his drumsticks on the dashboard, Sally was reading her favorite book, Romeo and Juliet, again and had started to read out loud, and Cherise was screaming out lyrics to a song. I figured it would probably be safe to turn off the ocean sounds from the radio. They made me have to pee but Cherise and Danny got car sick without it. I popped the CD out and slipped it into a case. Cherise didn't even notice. Danny glanced at me. I crossed my legs and started to bounce up and down. He laughed.

Sally slammed the book closed and started bawling. "They died! Oh, why did they die?!" She did this every time she read the book. Cherise looked over and stopped screaming the lyrics to her song, dollhouse by Melanie Martinez. She smirked and started screeching again. She definitely didn't lure people in with her voice, that's for sure.

"Hey, what's that address again, Danielle?" I asked and Danny glared at me. I had been calling him this since I thought he was a girl in grade school. He does look like a girl, all mer-folk do. They have long, usaully light colored hair and soft pale eyes and unbelievably pale skin.

"My name is Daniel and it's 3198 Old Berkesbeak Street." He said. Sally scowled as we pulled on the street, it was by a lake. We have to be by lakes because of the mer-folk we drag around.

"At least there's shade this time." She mumbled. I also had to make sure that there were alot of trees because vampires don't take sunlight lightly. (Hehe, get it? Sorry for that terrible pun...)

I opened the door and stepped otside, my white shorts and tank top felt really small and odd compared to the other's outfits. The white looked way strange next to Cherise and Danny's black and Sally's rainbow clothes.

Yes, I know you are thinking that since Sally is a vampire she should be wearing the traditional black, but that isn't the case because black attracts sun and she is trying to avoid the sun. The mer idiots are wearing black to attract sun to their horribly pale skin.

Sally stepped out of the car, her bright orange heels clashed against her ankle length red skirt and looked terrible againgst her light purple top. It didn't help that she wore neon pink sunglasses and a pastel yellow baseball cap. Her black hair spread over her shoulders and neck to cover any exposed skin.

Danny got out and flipped his waist length, brown hair over his shoulder He had in a black t-shirt that stretched tight over his muscles and blue jeans that matched his eyes perfectly. He was barefoot and had his ankle bracelet tucked in his pants, he really hated that thing. He pulled out Cherise's wheelchair and helped her into it.

Cherise situated her dress so that you couldn't see up the black and gray skin tight thing. My outfit didn't feel to small anymore. She had on black flats and had her light blonde hair pulled back into a bun. She had on eyeliner and light gold eyeshadow that highlighted her blue eyes perfectly.

I ran a hand through my knotted carrot colored hair and sighed. I decided to go unlock the door before Sally sinks her teeth in me... or burns alive.
