Sara's pov

"I feel so useless!" I said out loud to no one in particular. Every one got to help somehow, besides me.

I have to go to school and act like nothing is wrong. Even Sammy, the frickin ghost for lord's sake, gets to help more then me.

I just have to go to school. Ugh, and what am I gonna do at Lunch today? I sighed as I parked the car and got out. I was surprised to see Bree and Calista run over to me.

"Hey Sara!" Calista chirped happily while Bree threw her arms around my neck and squealed something along the lines of, "ahhhh, like, ahhh Sara!"

I laughed and started walking to class. "Hiya girlies!" I muttered behind me. It didn't take to long for them to step up beside me. They were talking about Aston Andres. I think Aston was the beta in their pack.

"Don't cha ya think he is the hottest?" Calista asked me.

"Ashton? I guess..." Bree looked at him from where we were to him sitting across the room. Calista laughed.

"Bree I meant Sara. Isn't Aston your brother?" Calista asked.

Bree nodded, "maybe that's why I don't think he's hot. He is handsome and crushworthy. But off limits to any one unapproved." Calista laughed.

I smiled at them. "Wait, your related to the Beta?" The words left my mouth before I stopped them.

"Yes, she is. I don't see the big deal! I mean all she has to do is sit around while her brother makes goo goo eyes at the pack sluts while the rest of us have to work, or run patrols!" Calista sounded bitter. Bree stared at her for awhile.

"Sorry." Bree whispered quietly. Calista looked over at the rest of her pack sitting in the corner and the teacher, bit her lip and grabbed my hand.

"What are yo gonna do about our pack problems?" Calista asked.

Bree and I (correct?) looked at her.

"Ours?"

It was after school that day that I decided to run by the store and pick up some hair dye.

Yes, I finally decided to get rid of this horrible head of 10 frickin' pounds of carrot skin hair.

I pulled out a gorgeous medium brown color made especially for thick hair. This was my color. Wow wouldn't I surprise Calista when she showed up with her stuff tonight. I can't believe tomorrow is Saturday already.

We've only lived here a week and we're already in deep trouble. Thank goodness I have more friends to help me out now.
