chapter 7

Joshua pov:

We reached the investor meeting. My father and me are partially holding the shares of Hong company limited but after few days I'll be the CEO of the company so my father wanted me to attend this investor meeting so that I can get to know some more investors and our partners personally.

While we were talking I noticed a girl sitting in a red dress eating some of the starters I believe. She looks too pretty and I was stunned to speak because she was very young to attend the meeting
I thought maybe she is just like me who started career at a very young age.

My father and one of our partners were talking when I saw the man who was talking with my father signed towards the girl in the red and told her to come here. She walked towards us and I could see but my cheeks turning hot because of her presence. She introduced herself as y/n and I couldn't stop smiling but then I realised I was between many people and I can't just smile like a fool.

We then sat on the chair where again I saw y/n sitting opposite to me. I could see that she was a bit concerned looking at Mr. Kim I don't know what is the reason but I could see proud face suddenly become dull. To be honest she looks very pretty when she is happy and looking at her sad made me feel hurt maybe this is too soon for me to realise that I like her cuteness but I know this was just the beginning and there is no end for it so I have to pull myself back and make myself realise this was just a useless feeling.

The meeting came to an end and saw y/n leaving with her family. when i stood up I saw her handkerchief on the place she was sitting. I took and kept it inside my pocket before anyone could notice.

Y/n POV:

We were done with the day and we're heading back home. The driver stopped infront of the gate and we walked inside our house "aghh such a long day but the best one!!" I said winning. You forgot about taehyung and when you check your phone there were tones of messages. "Aww he missed me so much" you just replied him saying that you will meet him tomorrow at your cafe and then drafted to sleep.
(Y/n has changed her self into comfy clothes)

(Next day)

Nothing special happened at your University just an announcement was made for your semester examination. You were waiting to meet Kim taehyung but he didn't't come today due to some personal issue that's what jimin told you during Lunch hour.

You reached home feeling sad because taehyung shares everything with you but this sudden behaviour was strange. You tried asking jimin about it but he didn't reveal anything. You were busy in your thoughts when you saw yunha calling you.

"What is it just make it quick. I'm already tired" I said. "Didn't wanna say this but your bf is with some girl in 5th block" my eyes widened maybe he was busy with this girl so he didn't make it to university?? I wasn't sure. "What are they doing and are you sure about it??" I said clinching my fest "bitch why would I lie to you about it and check our chats I have already sent you the picture" this can't be true or am I over reacting. She can be a friend too but why is he holding her hand. Tears started rolling down my cheeks.

" Yunha, keep a eye on them and inform me about it tomorrow. I'm leaving for the cafe" with that I hung up the call and quickly changed myself into a cafe uniform.

"Hi" I gave a bitter smile to Wooyoung. "Wae, what's up with you" he said looking at my swollen eyes. "Huhh it's nothing" I turned around avoiding his gaze. Wooyoung held my shoulder and looked at my eyes. "Y/n I'm not so fool to get mistaken with your swollen eyes. Tell me what's wrong"

" Actually i saw-" I was cut off when I heard new customer entering our cafe which was non other than Kim taehyung. Wooyoung was still holding on my shoulder a bit close to me. I don't want tae to misunderstand. "I will tell you later" with that I went and started making some coffee. I could feel tae staring at me from the cornor.

As soon as my shift ended I was about to leave when taehyung held my wrist "baby let's go together"

"It's fine" I said removing his hand from mine. He was dumbfounded with my behaviour and followed me. "Baby what happened, you know i usually come to pick you--" I cut him off "ik but it would be get if you mind your own business like you did today!!!"

"Y/n can you just stop acting such way and tell me what the hell did I do now???" I raised his voice at me and it was for the 1st time. Tears were forming in my eyes. I took my phone out and showed the picture to him. "Mind explaining this to me" he was quite for a while still processing how I got this picture.

"Y/n i should have told you this before, I'm sorry " he kept his head low and held my hand. " She is somi my ex girlfriend. We were In relationship 3years ago and broke up when i found she is cheating on me" he took a deep breath. "She came to meet me to say the final goodbye and sorry for what she did. Actually she is leaving to US next week". He kept quiet and hugged me tightly "Y/n my love please trust me there is nothing else apart from this".

I do trust taehyung alot. It was just my overthinking and possessiveness toward him. "I trust you and I'm sorry to behave like this"
