She was clearly uncomfortable, as I could see. I struck up a conversation with random to break the ice.
"Haha If I'm not sure you were clueless when you first saw me right?" Perhaps she didn't listen to me well because she didn't respond.
"Pardon me", she's worried about something. I know she wouldn't reveal to a stranger like me.
"I said I found you clueless when you saw me yesterday"
"Ohh yea, you're right. Actually, it's been five years since we last spoke. I would say that wasn't a formal encounter because it was more similar to a business introduction". Her hands are shaking as she holds the phone. Like she was waiting for a text or phone call. However, she did her best to respond to me.
"Yes, I did notice you back then. You looked stunning in that crimson gown. But you look prettier today". She gave me a look. Her tense mood is settling into peace. She requires protection from someone. Unlike the men in her past, she needs a man who can love her....... I wanna be that man.
Y/N POV:
We were seated in space. Although the room was comfortable enough for a pair, it was strange because we weren't a couple.
Joshua broke the calm. I did my best to respond to his questions, but I was not really focused. However, I feel terrible for him because I'm busy with trying to calm my anxious thoughts as I consider how my stalker might meet me tonight. Will I risk Joshua's life tonight because he's attempting to keep me safe?
I was on the bed when I heard Joshua say this while he was seated on the couch.
"Yes, I did notice you back then. You looked stunning in that crimson gown. But you look prettier today" I was speechless. This guy is definitely giving me butterflies.
My cheeks became slightly red. I got up and went to the bathroom to cover my face, thinking, "I guess I need to use the washroom." He was looking deep into my soul. I'm not sure how to describe it to him, but it felt more like he was admiring my beauty at a time when I was already in a difficult situation.
*Ting* Baby you look gorgeous in tonight's outfit. You must have missed me at the hotel lobby, I suppose. (Imagine your outfit)
No way. Don't tell me I didn't recognize that jerk even though he was standing right in front of me. I remember that Joshua, myself, and another man were in the reception area when the man stated that there was only one room available for the night.
That person! That man was heavy. He looked innocent but attractive, and he was already six feet tall. My stalker, though, isn't that tall. I need to recollect the other individuals who were on the ground floor.
I was unconscious from anxiousness and overthinking when the bottles in the bathroom collapsed *thud*. I could feel Joshua yelling and my eyes getting heavy.
*Y/n open the door, are you ok!!?" "Y/n please answer me" *Door unlocking* "Ohh shit"
Midnight
Something heavy pressed against my waist. When I opened my eyes, I saw that Joshua's hand was on my waist.
I've been falling sleep in his arms? I can clearly see his face. His heartbeat is audible to me. I don't want to wake him up while he's sleeping. I've disturbed him enough this morning. To be honest, I felt a little at ease with the position. I'm not sure how I got into such a situation, but I do feel safe. I hate this emotion, yet at this moment I am unable to defend.
I simply closed my eyes once again and dozed out like nothing happened.
Next day..
JOSHUA POV
The sunlight catches my eyes as I wake up. Y/n is still dozing off peacefully in my arms. She is so lovely. Everything about her—hair, eyes, nose, lips—is flawless. If she discovers that she has been unintentionally holding me all night, I hope she won't become upset.
I gently put my hand beneath her head and raised it to maintain its comfortable position on the pillow.
I showered and dressed up then ordered room service for breakfast. (Author pov: Joshua room service is so expensive if you know you know aghhh)
The meal was ready in fifteen minutes. Should I wake her up since she's still asleep? Should I let her sleep instead? I suppose I should wake her up before the meal goes cold since she said that she has to meet her friend today.
I called her out, but she did not respond when I said, "Y/n please wake up the breakfast is ready". I sat on bed next to her. When she's sleeping, she looks absolutely lovely. My heart rate started to increase. In order to make her not flinch away from my touch, I carefully tucked her hair behind her ear and rubbed my fingers to cheeks.
"Y/n, wake up we gonna be late" "Yunha, go away, it's my day off," she said to herself. So she lied yesterday.
Adorable, but I'm not going anywhere. Let me arrange for us to hang together today if she is on off. I'm not sure why, but I want to do this.
"Hey, this is Joshua. I'll eat the entire breakfast if you don't wake up," I said, pulling back my hand and arranging everything on a plate before starting to eat.
She opened her eyes wide and said, "Huhh wait wait I'm awake," just for the sake of eating a food wow. That was simple.
"Haha that's good, now freshen up in 5min and let's eat". She headed to the restroom to change.
OMG i forgot to give her clothes..
"Yeah, I did really get you some clothes. I mean my secrets bought this morning. You can shower I'm keeping it here the dress outside. Let me know when you come out. I'll leave the room" I was blushing hard imagining how she would look in the dress I choose for her.
I don't wanna look perverted so it's better i leave the room before she steps out.
I ate my breakfast quickly and left.
In order for me to enter, she knocked on the door. She had such Devin beauty that it left me stunned. She is a fictional princess.

"How is it?" Her head lowered, she questioned. "Beautiful!" Sometimes I really don't know how to keep my emotions in check, and I don't regret it.
She said shyly, "The fit is perfect, thanks for this." She looks even more beautiful with her cheeks heated. "Come have your breakfast then will go out somewhere"
