The group chat buzzed with enthusiasm as everyone caught up on the night's adventures. Banter, laughter, and subtle tension filled the cafe, setting the tone for a meeting filled with shared stories and the promise of more surprises to come.

As the discussion continued, fueled by caffeine and lingering hangover symptoms, there was a PING! Wallace glanced at his phone and remembered an important commitment. "Hey, guys," he interrupted, "I hate to break up this party, but I've got a date with my boyfriend!" The news sparked a mix of teasing and supportive comments from the group.

"Ooh, Wallace has a date! Tell us all about it later," Neil said with a mischievous grin. Wallace rolled his eyes playfully and bid farewell to his friends, heading off with a cheerful wave.

The cafe atmosphere shifted as the remaining members acknowledged their own responsibilities. Stephen checked the time on his phone and exclaimed, "I've got a meeting with a potential guy for our next gig. Gotta make a good impression!" He exchanged quick goodbyes and left, leaving behind a burst of excitement about future opportunities.

Ramona glanced at her phone, realizing she had a suddenly scheduled shift later in the day. "Sorry, guys. Duty calls, you know how it is. Let me know if we're doing anything tonight!", with a friendly smile, she made her exit, leaving the cafe in the hands of Scott, Kim, and Neil.

Neil, ever the free spirit, announced, "I've got
to practice for my dance-off later. Who's up to rate my new moves?" He received a mixed response, with Scott intrigued and Kim needing more coffee before committing.

As Scott was about to reply, "Yeah I'd love-", Scott's phone buzzed with a text message. After a moment of reading, he looked up with an apologetic expression. "Sorry, Neil, but I've got  important business to attend to.. Catch you all later?" With that, he quickly gathered his things and left the cafe, leaving Kim and Neil exchanging curious glances.

After that, Neil and Kim decided to part ways with goodbyes and went to their respective homes. Later that day, Kim mustered the courage to text Scott. "hey scott.. do u think we can meet later? i've been meaning to tell u something." She hesitated before pressing send, wondering how Scott would respond.

Luckily for her, Scott replied with "sure! what time were you thinking?," and he added on, "i thinkkk i'll be done around 8.. if that's cool?".
Kim sighed a breath of relief, and finally responded with "oh yea, that's fine. i'm a bit busy atm anyways."

TIME SKIP TO 8 ~

As the clock struck 8, Scott found himself standing outside Kim's house. The chilly winter air nipped at his face, and he could feel the snowflakes starting to drift down from the darkening sky. Scott sighed, watching his breath create small clouds in the cold air. He wondered what Kim wanted to talk about and hoped the impending snow wouldn't complicate their conversation.

Meanwhile, inside her house, Kim had been nervously pacing. She caught a glimpse of Scott through the window, waiting patiently. Gathering her courage, she opened the door, greeting him with a warm yet uncertain smile.

"Hey, Scott. Come on in," Kim said, ushering him inside as the snowflakes continued to fall. The atmosphere was charged with a mix of tension and curiosity. Scott leaves his coat at the door as they settled in the living room, where the glow of a small lamp created a cozy ambiance. Kim continued, "Want some hot chocolate? The snow seemed to have picked up.." Scott, who was shivering, stammered, "T-that'd be great." As Kim leaves to prepare their drinks, Scott sensed the gravity of the conversation, couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy. "So, what's on your mind?" he asked, as Kim came back with their drinks.
