Chapter 11: Good and Bad News

After the battle at the Chaos Theater and defeating Gideon, everyone regrouped outside to the main entrance. As if Gideon's ominous dark energy held the building together, it started to collapse on its own.  Scott, still holding his new sword, spoke up, "Guys! We did it! I think."

Ramona chimed in, "Hm.. I think we finished him off at last. Glad that's over with. Guy was a creep.."

After checking everyone's wounds, each and every person decided to part ways and finally head home after a long days work.

TIME SKIP! ~ 1 WEEK LATER

Scott was just waking up in the morning as Wallace was making breakfast, as per usual. Then, both of their phones pinged.

(New messages from group chat!)

Kim:
"hey guys! everyone's rested up? any1 dead?"

Scott:
"morning everyone... i'm okay haha i think i totally beat that guys ass."

Wallace:
"hey! you mean WE?"
"but yeah! we totally did it!"

Stephen:
"Other than some cuts and bruises, I'm actually doing pretty well."

Kim:
"same here. totally kicked ass."

Neil:
"i'm okay :p i didn't really do much.. sorry guys."

Ramona P:
"Hey, no worries Neil! We're friends. We'll have your back."

Kim:
"man.. scott got a cool new sword. so unfair.."

Scott:
"is that jealously i see? anyways, i wouldn't have done it without you guys."
"thanks everybody for helping me defeat that gideon!!"

Kim:
"shut up scott."

Ramona P:
"Of course! Like I said, we'll always have your back."

Wallace:
"mmm.. doubtful."

Ramona P:
"Haha Wallace."

Wallace:
"yeah yeah whatever.. on a much better note i have good news!"
"julie's throwing a party today and she totally wants us to come"

(Julie has entered the group chat!)

Julie:
"NO THE HELL I DONT?! SCOTT, YOU'RE NOT INVITED."

Scott:
"what?! why not??"

Julie:
"For the record Scott, you totally blew up the Second Cup. And, almost got us killed."

Kim:
"julie, as much as i hate to say it. you should invite scott. he DID kinda kill gideon."

Scott:
"see! i totally did save you guys."

Wallace:
"what a reason..."
"but. he has a point, julie you might as well."

Stephen:
"I second that. He saved me, Neil, and Knives before this too."

Neil:
"hmm.. party you say.."

Ramona P:
"Yeah Julie! I think Scott deserves it after all he's been through."

Julie:
"Oh my god. Fine. Scott, you're invited. BUT NO KISSING KIM."

Everybody:
"WHAT?"

(Scott has left the group chat!)

TIME SKIP! ~ JULIE'S PARTY

Everyone finds themselves back at Julie's house.
They were all ready to finally relax after everything they've been through. Literally.
