Jungwon |

I froze as Jay poured his heart out. A tear slipped down my cheek, caught off guard by the depth of Jay's emotions.

"Jungwon, are you.. okay?"

I managed to smile through my overwhelming emotions. "I'm more than okay. I've never heard anything more heartwarming in my life."

Out of nowhere, I found myself wrapping my arms around him in a tight hug.

And in that moment, I realized that my own feelings for Jay had silently grown even more if that was possible. As I hugged him, I whispered, "I feel the same. I really do."

Jay pulled back, looking into my eyes, a mixture of joy and disbelief dancing in his gaze. "You.. you do?"

I nodded. "I didn't know how to say it, but I've been feeling the same way for a long time."

"You have no idea how much this means to me. I've been wanting to tell you for so long."

I smiled nervously, "Well, you took the words right out of my mouth. Literally."

We chuckled, the air thick with tension. Neither of us wanted to look away.

Jay, breaking the silence, asked with a touch of hesitation, "Can I kiss you?"

A smile played on my lips as I nodded, giving him permission.

He leaned in slowly, and our lips met in a long, gentle kiss.

When we pulled back, Jay looked at me with care in his eyes. "Do you want to give it a try? Be.. together?"

I nodded, a genuine warmth spreading through me. "Yes. I would like that."

A playful smile crossed his face as he asked, "So, does that make me your boyfriend?"

I chuckled, "Yes, Jay. You're my boyfriend now."

Unable to resist, we leaned in for another kiss. This time, it was longer and more intense than the one before.

It didn't stop; it only got harsher. Before I knew it, Jay had me pressed against a wall, and the warmth between us grew more intense. His hands held me by the waist as the kiss became more passionate.

Lost in the moment, I let myself surrender to the feeling of being wanted and cared for. It was as if the world around us faded, leaving only the connection between Jay and me.

As the kiss reached its natural pause, we pulled back, smiles lighting up our faces.

Jay's eyes sparkled, and he whispered, "I've been dreaming of this moment."

I chuckled softly, "Me too."

We stood there, our hands intertwined.

"You know, I think I could get used to being your boyfriend," I said.

"I hope so because I could definitely get used to calling you mine."

Blushing, I looked away, a smile playing on my lips.

"Well, get ready, Jungwon. You're in for a lifetime of bad jokes and cheesy lines now that you're with me."

I laughed, "I think I can handle that."

Taking a more serious tone, I turned to Jay and said, "I can't thank you enough for being here for me. It means more than everything, really."

Jay's expression softened, "Being with you, supporting you, it's what I want to do. You know I care about you a lot."

"We're in this together, Jungwon. Whatever comes our way, we face it as a team."

After a while, Jay suggested going somewhere. We decided on the Han River, finding a peaceful spot to sit and gaze at the sky.

However, a hint of hesitation lingered in my thoughts. Eventually, I mustered the courage to ask, "Do you still have time to spend with your other friends? I mean, we've been spending a lot of time together, and I don't want you to feel like you have to choose."

Jay looked thoughtful, understanding the weight of my words. "I care about you a lot, and spending time with you is something I genuinely want to do. But I also value my friendships. You're not keeping me from anyone. You don't have to worry about that."

"Thanks. I just.. didn't want you to feel pressured or anything."

He placed a reassuring hand on mine, "We can make it work somehow."

After a while, I brought up, "So, what do you feel like doing tomorrow?"

He pondered for a moment, "How about we go to a café?"

A smile played on my lips, "That sounds perfect. Any particular café in mind?"

"Not really. We can find a cozy one when we're out tomorrow."

"Sounds like a plan," I replied.

The next evening, Jungwon was filled with anticipation as he prepared to go out with Jay.

However, as he entered his room, a sudden sight caught him off guard. There, on his desk, was a rose accompanied by a letter.

------------------------
Hey Jungwon,

Unfortunately, an unexpected mission has come up, and I won't be able to make it to our plans today. I'm truly sorry for the sudden change.

I promise to visit you later tonight to make sure you're alright. I'm really, really sorry. Please take care

Love you, ♡
Jay

As Jungwon read the letter, a whirlwind of emotions swirled through his mind. He wasn't angry at all; he was worried. The memory of Jay getting hurt on a previous mission lingered in his mind. He didn't want the same thing to happen once again.

As the clock ticked past 1 a.m., Jungwon remained wide awake, anxiously waiting for Jay to fulfill his promise.

Jay arrived later that night, teleporting into Jungwon's room. Startled, Jungwon looked at the person in his room, but smiled afterward when he noticed it's Jay.

"I'm really sorry about today. The mission took longer than expected," he said, genuine remorse in his eyes.

Concerned, Jungwon responded, "Are you okay? You didn't get hurt, did you?"

Jay shook his head, "No, I'm fine, don't worry."

Both of them sat on Jungwon's bed.

"I hate that your missions are so unpredictable," Jungwon confessed, holding Jay's hand.

Jay squeezed it reassuringly, "I know, but that's what I have to do."

"I get that, but I can't help worrying about you."

Jay leaned in, placing a soft kiss on Jungwon's forehead. "I appreciate your concern, but I'll always do my best to come back to you in one piece."

Jungwon sighed, "I know. It's just hard not knowing."

They sat in comfortable silence for a moment, Jay breaking it with a lighthearted tone, "So, tomorrow, I promise no missions. Just you and me, okay?"

A smile crept onto Jungwon's face, "Deal."

"You know, even on the toughest missions, thinking about you keeps me going."

The atmosphere shifted, and Jay couldn't resist the connection between them. He leaned in, capturing Jungwon's lips in a tender kiss.

As they pulled back, Jay hesitantly asked, "Jungwon?" Jungwon responded with a hum.

"Is it okay for you if I.."

"Bite you?"
