Ishan was frustrated by the door bell. He had slept late watching movies and didn't need to be woken up at 5 am by whoever had decided to ruin his sleep. He opened the door to a hoodie and mask wearing giant with a huge backpack. If he didn't know any better he would've said a backpacker had lost his way, but he knew better. He'd recognize the giant with his eyes closed.

By the time he had closed the door, the man had shed his mask and dumped his backpack and was on him, hugging him like he hadn't met him in 2 whole years while it had been barely 2 weeks.

Ishan could barely get out a

"tu idhar kya kar raha hai bhai"

(What're you doing here bro)

"Bhai?? 2 hafte mein saiyya se bhaiyya?"

(Bro?? In 2 weeks I've gone from bae to bro?)

"Yaar subah subah dimaag kharab mat kar"

(dude its early in the morning, stop eating my head)

"I missed you so much baby"

He was peppered with so many kisses that he had to stop being grumpy.

"How? Kaise?"

"Test jaldi khatam hua na aur Meine tickets aise karaye ki thodi der tere saat rahoon"

(Test got over faster than anticipated, got tickets so I could spend some time with you)

Ishan was touched. It was a simple gesture but it meant the world to him. He looked at Shubman who looked dead on his feet. Jet lagged and clearly having taken a detour to be with him. When he got the keys to the apartment for a temporary stay, it's not like he didn't hope for this to happen but he really did underestimate his boyfriend. His boyfriend and his steadfast dedication to him. He felt loved and cherished.

He had given Shubman his own clothes to change into as he went to take a quick shower. He had eaten, he insisted so Ishan just waited under the covers, waiting to cuddle with his favorite person.

It was much easier now, he thought. Back in the day, they would find reasons to spend time together. But, they really had to rack their brains for a reason that sounded reasonable. *So I spent a whole tour with my bestie who was also my roommate. Now that we are back in town we want to hang out some more.* Well yeah, it didn't really sound convincing. Now it was easier it was all about a I missed you every hour, every minute, every second of the day. It was almost unfair to besties. He laughed at his own thoughts.

Shubman had walked out, seeing Ishan's smile, he smiled.

"Penny for your thoughts"

"You my bhai are in my thoughts" he said mischievously.

"Yaar phir se bhai. Kaha jaake sar phodoon mein"

(Dude not bro again, where do I break my head)

"Idhar aa" (come here) Ishan giggled. Once Shubman got inside the blanket with him and Ishan had him in his embrace, he continued with his teasing.

"Tho bhai" (so..bro)

"Yaaaaaaar.. mat kar na" (duddeeeee...don't do it)

"Mein us time ki baat soch raha tha jab hum ek doosre ko bhai bolte the"

(I was thinking of the time we used to be bros)

"Oh?"

"Haan oh. Jab hum bahane doondthe the saat time spend karne keliye"

(yeah oh! Also, the way we used to find reasons to spend time together)

Shubman was looking at him fondly as he reminisced.

"Waise ye batao BHAI.. shirt kisne wapas poocha tha"

(Also tell me bro, who asked for the shirt back)

Shubman facepalmed.

"Tujhe Patah hai manager ne karaya tha woh kyunki hum kuch jyaada hi open hogaye the"

(You know tha manager made me do it 'cos we were being quite open)

Ishan shrugged, "mujhe nahi patah bhai." (I don't know bro)

Shubman wrestled him and closed Ishan's mouth with his own.

"Abse ye word nahi use hoga.. Samjhe" (Now on this word won't be used, got it?)

he kissed again.

"Nahi samjhe tho aur bhi tareeke hai mere pass" (If you don't get it there are other ways to get you to)

Ishan was having way too much fun to stop him. He hadn't laughed that much in a long while now. He really had missed his bro, bestie, love, soulmate all rolled into one.

Ishan hadn't been sleeping too well and was happy to get some sleep as well. When they woke up, it was almost afternoon. Ishan realized Shubman had a deep contemplative look on his face even as he was staring at him.

Ishan snapped his fingers in front of him. "Kya hogaya??"

(What happened?)

"Ishan, tu therapy continue kyun nahi kar raha"

(Ishan, why aren't you continuing therapy?)

That was not what Ishan was expecting to hear so he was stupefied.

"Tujhe kaise" (How do you..?)

"Tujhe lagtha hai mujhe patah nahi chalega?"

(You think I won't get to knwo?)

Shubman had tried to harden his voice a little which was what made Ishan melt. He cared so much, enough to come all the way.

"Kuch work nahi kar raha tha Shubi"

(Nothing was working Shubi)

"Aise beech mein chodega tho kaise chalega. Please Ishan saare sessions attend kar, phir decide kar. Mein chahtha hoon ki tu jaldi se jaldi wapas team mein aaye aur uskeliye ye zaroori hai"

(How'll it work if you leave it half way. Please Ishan, do all your sessions, then decide. I want you to be back on the team as soon as possible and this is needed for that)

Ishan looked like he wanted to say something but then just nodded.

"Teek hai"

(Ok)

"Itni asaani se maan gaya."

(You agreed rather quickly)

"Haan tune bola tho mein maan gaya"

(You asked so I agreed)

Shubman looked confused. He was probably expecting a fight from his stubborn boyfriend. Ishan was amused by the confused look on his face.

"Meri jaan, I know you're right"

Shubman nodded, still looking a tad bit confused.

"Kis kisne tujhe bola? Raj bhaiyya ne kuch bola kya"

(Who all told you? Did Raj bhaiyya say anything)

Shubman nodded.

"Haan mein thoda time le raha tha sochne keliye.. samaj nahi aa raha tha kya karoon. Par jab tu aaya.. "

(I was just taking some time to think. Couldn't figure out what to do. But when you came..)

Ishan stopped unsure of how to express it. Something about Shubman finding him and his faith in him and set things straight for him. He was ready to get back to his sessions, get well and be fully fit, mentally and otherwise. More importantly, he was ready to fight his way back into the team. Shubman let him hug it out instead of using words. They've never needed a lot of words to understand each other. This time wasn't any different.

A/N - we are almost at the finish line. A chapter more maybe. Thank you for all the love and support.
