"Perseus! Answer the question. Are you or are you not hosting Kronos?" He asks again

"I am." I say reluctantly

The room fills with gasps and nasty words thrown towards me. I just let everyone get their initial reactions out of them and remain staring at Zeus. He firmly grips his master bolt as he gets ready to vaporize me, but I don't move. If he wants to zap me he can because I'm leaving anyway. After everyone finally relaxes, I add to my previous statement by saying,

"Within good reason of course."

Percy's POV
"Within good reason?" Zeus asks, "And what reason would that be?"

"We all would've died if I didn't." I say, "Listen I know you don't trust me. I knew that would happen. But I'm doing this for the betterment of all of us. None of you are in any danger. Hurting any of you is not what I wanted with these powers."

I look around as I see a bunch of faces if uncertainty, and I take it as an opportunity to continue.

"Kronos is fading." I say, "If I didn't let him possess me, his domains would've went haywire and everyone would've died. Our goal right now isn't to kill any of you. I just want the domains to be stable so no one dies."

I could see that they didn't believe me, but I stood my ground. Would this probably end in my death? Yes. Do I care? No. Because I'm going to fix everything anyway, so this conversation doesn't really matter. I just need to wait for the opportune moment. The olympians look to each other, seemingly having a silent conversation, before turning back to me.

"How are we supposed to know that our safety is all you want?" Athena asks

"Please, if I wanted to kill you I would've done it already. I sure as hell don't need powers over time to do so." I say

"You're trying to convince us that you only want to do good, but threaten us? Not a very good idea." She says

"You're the one who asked." I say, "either way it doesn't matter. Someone needs to wield the powers, and Kronos chose me. What's the problem with that?"

"You're already powerful enough. Adding powers over time to the mix easily makes you stronger than all of us." Zeus says

"Oh so it's the fact that I have them that's the problem. Got it, got it." I say, "Funny thing about that, I don't care about what you think. Kronos chose me because he thought that I was the only one capable of using them. That's not my fault."

"And you expect us to believe you?" Athena asks

"You can talk to him if you want." I offer, 'Kronos?'

"Terrible idea, but I guess. I'm almost faded anyway." He says, "Just let me out."

I close my eyes and feel myself receding back into my mind. I feel Kronos taking over, and I gotta say it's pretty unnerving. I put all my trust in him as I let him take over my body to have a nice conversation with his children.

The rooms watches in a fearful silence at Percy closes his eyes. A few seconds go by when they snap back open to show a solid gold. He lets out a sigh and looks around the room before smirking. He looks to the scythe, which is still in his hand, and twirls it in his hand.

"I have to say... it's rather nice to have a form again." He says

"What have you done to my son?" Poseidon asks

"Nothing he didn't agree to." He counters, "Not to worry, it was all his choice."

"He would never agree to that." Poseidon says
