I slid on my coat. The night was so clear, it seamed to be beckoning me out. I closed the door gently behind me after grabbing a flashlight. I decided just to walk to the closest park and back. I had done this before, so I wasn't frightened at all; until I heard a twig snap behind me. I grabbed my flashlight out of my pocket and shone the light at the trees. Nothing. I turned behind me, nothing. This was getting weird. Maybe tonight wasn't a good night for a walk after all. I decided to turn around and go back to Amy's house. Just when I did though, something hit me on the back of my head and my world went black.
