This is my own mapping of usable notes in the pentatonic scale , I will break it down into segments to make more sense. First you can see that the black dots are the original basic minor pentatonic shape and then there are bunch of other coloured dots, also the pink dots are purely extra notes I found work well but I'm will break down the other colours.

The green dots is what I'd call a chromatic run Google chromatic if you don't know, it's not that exciting it's just all notes possible together but let's move on, you can go really fast with this scale shape and it sounds really cool too i haven't added any root notes there it's the third from the start but if you know you scales now look at the first pic at the top with all coloured dots together look at the basic black dot shape that you should already know from the previous page on scales and know where the red dot is from that and work it out from there, also I strongly recommend doing all this with a backing track doesn't matter what key but G is usually really good I'll put a QR code with a link to a backing track but there are thousands on YouTube and I urge try ones in different keys and different tempos (BPM beats per minute)

The yellow dots represent tapping if you don't know what that is, look up some guitar tapping videos on YouTube, but this pattern again will allow you to unlock crazy speeds, I urge combining all these scales together simultaneously really broaden your playing ability.

Here is a QR code of a video on YouTube for a backing track that I personally used for hours and hours on end Practising my scales

Here is a QR code of a video on YouTube for a backing track that I personally used for hours and hours on end Practising my scales. Again, I asked you to try different backing tracks in different keys and set in different tempos and even in different styles of music.
